In this period of non-wedding planning that I find myself, I've started looking at wedding rings and I need some ideas!! Rob (DF) and I are wanting something in a white metal and also it needs to be able to be engraved on the inside (We're putting Ohana 10-12-09 on the inside, we're Lilo and Stitch junkies). :stitch:

There are so many websites out there and I know if anyone can give recommendations - you all can! So if you wouldn't mind posting pictures of your rings, or the website would be great!

TIA! :goodvibes

DF got his from Whitehall

But they are going out of business. :sad2:

We started off looking at Tacori, Chad Allison, Kay, and local jewelers, but I ended up finding an antique at an estate sale last week!

Hi Meg :wave2: my rings came from Mark Schneider, www.markschneiderdesign.com. Nick just wanted something very basic, its a plain 6mm white gold comfort fit band, and we got his at a local jewelry store where we had a gift certificate.

Also, my new find online is www.bluenile.com, looking at some wedding day jewelry or possibly BM gifts. Its just fun to look at bling!!! :cool2:

We are going with tungsten so DF doesn't destroy it. If we didn't go with tungsten, we would go with palladium.

DH designed my e-ring on Whiteflash.com. It's absoutely gorgeous! He said they were amazing to deal with and liked them so much we chose my wedding band from them too. I take off my e-ring for housecleaning, yard work, making meatballs, etc. but I never wanted to take off my wedding band, so I got a plain platinum band rather than something with stones or a wrap style band. We didn't get our rings engraved but Whiteflash can probably do that. DH wanted a simple white gold comfort style band and we found it at a local jewelry store for $90 :)

I'm like www.exceldiamonds.com (http://www.exceldiamonds.com)'s and they have a "you ring... we bring" policy - so they'd definately do engraving. And their prices are good and the customer service is great ... okay I told you I was their biggest fan! :rolleyes1

Also one of my co-workers just got married and her wedding band is really cool and was custom designed by Knox (http://www.knoxjewelers.biz/)

And we're most likely getting DF's ring from e-wedding bands (http://www.e-weddingbands.com/store/gold_wedding_bands.html) off another co-worker's recomendation - since DF needs a titanium or carbite ring if we have any hope of it lasting more than a month. :headache:

Just a heads up I got an email today that Zales is closing a bunch of stores. That is where we got my wedding ring....but Mike got his at Kay. Mike's is Tungston which I believe you can not engrave in.http://zales.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pZALE1-2222822t110.jpg It is a half carot round cut channel ring. The diamonds only go around half of the band and they will HAVE to be fused together becuase it is going to drive me nuts if it spins!:scared1:
