Got a good rate at CR, because of military. It is about half the cost of GF, for which I also had a good deal at $175 per night. Do you think GF is that much better, or would the super rate at CR, $100 be okay? I'm not much of a fan for contemporary things, but for only two nights, it might be okay. It would be one of the wing rooms, and probably not a good view. Like I said it would be two nights, but only one real day. We will be moving to a monorail resort from BWV. I'm the type that likes to lounge around the resort, and GF is more my speed. Would you pass up the rate at CR for GF for such a quick stay?

You know I am probably paying about as much as you for the CR as you would be paying for the GF, now I've stayed the CR before and I am staying there again in three days (YIPPIE!), BUT if I had my choice I would take the GF because I have always wanted to stay there and for that price, GO FOR IT!

Although, I don't believe for a second you will be disappointed with the CR there is just something about the GF that is special.

For the price you got, stick with the GF! I love both resorts, and it would be harder to choose if you had a CR tower room. The GF is beautiful, and you will love it. Have fun!

As a member of the military and a frequent visitor to the SOG, I find that the relaxing atmosphere there is superior to any other resort at Disney. Even the people staying there seem to be more relaxed and friendlier. Is it because they are mostly military?
I will be staying at CR in June for a week and am looking forward to the trip. We have a superior ground floor room on the North Garden facing the lagoon and pool.:smooth: :smooth:
