request about contest thread

This is a great thread and it has taken me awhile to read the whole thing. Just wanted to suggest that some of the people who added contests may want to go in and delete those that have expired. I hit lots of page unavailable links today. Thanks to all who listed them, hope I win something -it's fun to dream anyway!

I try to do this on a regular basis but it has been awhile so I will check and make sure all my old ones are deleted.

Bumping as a reminder. There are many contests that have expired recently. :bounce:

How about we also try to post when the contests end? I have found that this helps me go back and delete those that have expired and keeps me from going to links that are no longer valid.

It's a terrific thread. And a great place for a newbie to jump in to. Updating expired contest is a good idea. Another thing I thought would be helpful is to say up front whether the contest is a daily, weekly, monthly or one-time promotion.
