Finding out actors' names [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

I have a dumb question (no surprise there):

What web sites can you go to to find the names of actors who've appeared in national commercials? There are a couple actors I'm looking for whom, after 30 minutes of Googling, I can't even find any pictures of.

"Why am I looking them", you ask? Oh.......no reason. No....really. You know.......

I'm just curious. :rolleyes1

If you know the actors names, you could try google images? Yeah, I know. you've already done that, but it's all I could think of! :confused3

You could try youtubin' the commercial, usually someone in the comments section asks "who's that guy?"
And then someone else comes along and sez "that's so 'n so, isn't he dreamy?" :love:

Usually YouTube always helps when I have questions like this.......

But it didn't help when I was looking for the LeapFrog mascot guy! :sad:

I remember reading somewhere that he lip synchs those songs. It's not his voice. He's French-Speaking Canadian. My understanding is that he speaks very little English, and with a heavy accent.

I'm not saying it should make a difference or not. I just know a couple people who were upset when they found out it wasn't really his voice singing those songs. They were hoping he'd put out a CD.

Is THIS who you're talkin about, MM? His first name is Mike... The fella with the ugly tie and green fake fur frog suit??? (all I could glean from the little girl's CV -- what a strange and wonderful world this is -- where a cute little poppet like that actuallly has a CV...)
