Is the Special Priority service thats speeds up resale closings worth doing? (does it really make a time difference)

Our resale took 36 days from bid to closing without paying for the "priority" closing. I didn't think it was necessary, wasn't in any hurry. I have heard others on this board say that they closed in less than 4 weeks.
