I was perusing the Disney site looking for AP offers, etc. for our upcoming trip next week. We are booked at WL standard view for $200/ night- I found the new special offers link on the main page- with DMK code the room was only $170/night. CRO promptly applied the new code for me :) I am suprised that a room only code is so much less than the FL Res or AP rate:scared1:

The military rate (code FZJ I think) is even better!
I could have gotten PORFQ for between $89 a night and $119 (changed during the week, Dec 17 - 22nd). Instead got the Disney Visa free dining - total for 4 adults for 5 nights, one day ticket and dining for $1100 total.
It seems like the rates are so enticing right now!
Enjoy the WL - I've eaten there twice, never stayed. I would have looked into it myself, but this is last minute for us, and trying to do it as cheaply as possible.

I know, I saw that too. I was looking at booking over the weekend (next week) and the the AP rate jumped to full price for Friday and Saturday to $99 for a value, but the GP fall rate is only $59 a night which includes the weekend. THis happened once before and I complained about the higher price for AP holders. They called me, but couldn't understand what I was complaining about. I did end up getting a pin code for next weekend for 50% off so we're paying $49 a night at a value resort.

What is the military rate for? Do you have to have to be an AP in order to get it?

I am not eligible for any military rates, but AP is annual passholder;)
