When is everyone going with their buy 4 get 3 deal? Where will you be? Did you decide to go because of the deal?
We are staying at POFQ 3/14 to 3/21, and we only decided to go because of the deal...and it's during my birthday! I've never been to WDW for my birthday before. I really want to stay at Poly, it's one of four resorts I've never stayed at, but instead I'm going for my birthday and then again in Dec. 2009 for Mousefest! I can live with that!!! :)
So, when are you going and where are you staying?

We will be going Jan. 10-17, staying @ Pop! We were going that week anyway, so the deal just came at the right time for us. We did add dining to our package when the deal came out. This is our first time on the dining plan.
The entire family will be there with us! DH, me, DS 13, our 2 DDs, their DH's, and our 3 grandson's, ages 2.5 yo, 10mos. & 10mos.
My DH just returned safely from Iraq, and this is our big celebration trip!;) Can't wait to get there!!!!!

My DW and DS (18 months) and I will be going between January 6-13 and we will be staying at the Grand Floridian.
I had already booked the GF for those dates with an interline discount. We wanted to be on the monorail since we were going with a baby for the first time. The only hotel that I could get the interline discount was at GF, so I took it. We really wanted Poly though.
Then the 4/3 deal came out. I called up and asked what was available on the monorail for the 4/3 deal for those dates (since I already had my flights set up). They said nothing on the monorail was available for the deal for those dates. Then I mentioned that I already had an existing reservation. The CM called it up and was able to convert it over to the 4/3 deal.
The hotel wound up being a little cheaper then my original interline discount. We got the discounted tickets which I was going to buy anyway. We got the $200 gift card which is a huge bonus. Plus, we added the dining plan which we could not add on when we used the interline discount. This is our first time on the dining plan.
So, this deal was just great for us. We have always used the interline discount since it has always saved us more money than the general public discounts. But this 4/3 deal beat the interline discount hands down.

We will be staying at All-Star Sports June 22-29. I had already booked a reservation at this resort for these dates, so I called and they were able to change it to the new deal. We saved about $400. This is my first trip to Disney, so this is a great start to the experience!

We are booked for the Poly from March7-14.
This is our first and probably last Poly trip and we are so excited. Our trip is $3317 and we get the $200 gift card:thumbsup2
I am thinking about adding the CS dining to our package

We are staying at POP May 26-June 2 with the 4/3 deal. (I was hoping for a free dining pin, but no such luck!! )We had already planned on going during that time, but had not made reservations until the deal was released. We were thrilled to get a discount of any kind, as it seemed that there weren't usually many released for our travel dates.

We're staying 22-29th March at CSR. :woohoo: We stayed there last Dec and loved it
We booked our flights only a week before the deal was released and were really pleased that it covered our dates. :yay:

We also have a trip planned for late August at POLY - BUT - with the 4/3 deal we decided to book a "quickie' in - for March 14 - 21 ... at the POR.
We booked one week + one day BASE TIX, we will add on when we get there... plus I think that the Dining Plan is the only way to go - for our family
( so we will add that on also - before we leave )
One week + One Day base ticket for family of FIVE = $1256.97 - PLUS $200 Gift card offer!
( will be more once we add on the extras - but this eleviates the hefty payment that will be due SHORTLY after Christmas! ) :thumbsup2
I just have to use self control and not switch resorts! ( I like to stay somewhere different each time we come...
BUT I 'LL TAKE THE DEAL ANY DAY! For a quick winter fix!

We're staying at the Wilderness cabins Jan. 16 - 23. I already had a ressie for another location but when this deal came out I jumped on it. $1422, 1 magic your way base ticket ( we have AP's), plus the $200 gift card. The last time we stayed at the cabins we really didn't get to enjoy the resort, I overplanned that trip :confused3 This time we'll stop and smell the roses.:thumbsup2

My January trip is 11 nights, with the AP discount, and I couldn't figure out any way to split it up with this promotion and come out better than what I already have (it was close, but not better). So I left that trip alone.
However, I did book the 10 night version of the 4/3 from April 14 to the 24th, and was thrilled with getting a discount during a partially peak period. That really helped. I'll be at FW Cabins. I'd already planned on taking "a" trip during that period, but the promotion made it a Disney trip instead of some place else.

we were going anyways it was just a matter of now many days.
our thing is that we are arriving on April 25th and were going to stay at dh's cousin's for a few days.
booking 3 nights at POP for the 28-30 is more expensive then booking in right from the 25th.
so even though we'll be staying at least 1 night at cousin's house it's still cheaper then booking the 3 nights alone.
something like 1395 vs 1045.
oh and yes this includes our 10 park pass plus water for our DVC portion
we're staying a total of 3 weeks :)

I've always wanted to try the dining plan...but I guess the $200 gift card will help with that!
It looks like a lot of people got better deals on trips they already had planned. I'm feeling a little guilty about my trip, I just returned 11/02 from a trip. But it's gonna be my birthday, so i can justify it as my gift to myself:angel:

Previous years we just had a 20% off room AAA discount, so this year is wayyyyy more better.

POP March 14-22nd DS turns 3 on the 22nd. Taking advantage of the deal and not having to pay for his tickets. Had previously booked the Fort and planned on taking the motorhome DH, DD4, DS2, and myself. Could not pass up on this deal. No cooking, cleaning, or making beds. Planning on driving mini van from PA unless I can get a sweet deal on a flight. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I have never heard of the interline discount. :confused3
What is it? How did you get it? Is this something anyone can get?
Well, I am not sure exactly who all is eligible for interline discounts, but I am an employee of a US airline. We are eligible for these discounts. We have to fax over copies of our company ID's and then present them in person upon check in. The discounts work like all of the other discounts Disney offers. Meaning that they often come out shortly before the dates availabe and there are a limited amount of rooms and resorts that the interline discount can be used at.
I have been told by Disney CM's that the interline discount is the same percentage discount they receive at the resorts (40%-60% off room only reservations). We used to be able to book these discounts on the regular reservations phone number. Now they have a special phone number to call that only handles these interline calls.
We wanted to stay in the Poly for this trip, but the only interline discount was at GF, so we picked it. Then the 4/3 deal came out and we were able to switch to that and stay at the GF.
So, long story short....Interline discount is a discount for airline (and probably other types) of employees.

We usually go to WDW for our anniversary, which is May 10th, so this vacation was in the process of being thought about, but not booked. We went to Tahiti for 2 fabulous weeks on our honeymoon :lovestruc and thought it would be fun to stay at the Poly for our anniv. Originally, our quote was for $4300 :scared1: for 2 adults, 1 child (age 2), 7 nights, 7 day base tickets, Garden view & DDP...WOW!! Then the 4/3 deal came out and our package came to $2800...WHEW!!! Much better, a savings of nearly $1500:woohoo: !! Now we are booked!! Here's hoping for some cheap airfare!:thumbsup2

Dumb question, how do you get the 4/3 quote to work online at the Disney Website? I do not see a space for the promo code, and when I try and price a deluxe resort for my dates, it seems REALLY high for what is supposed to be a discount.
I know I am doing something wrong, just don't know how to figure it out?

We're staying at the Pop 2/3-2/10, also!
It's going to be me, DH, our DD (who will be just over 4 months), and my sister.
We were going through WDW withdrawals, complaining that we wouldn't be going again until DD was around 2 or 3... but when that commercial aired...
Well, the rest is history. So, we're not really SAVING any money, as we hadn't planned for this trip, but over rack rate, I think we're saving a few hundred dollars.

We were already going in February. We were staying 5 nights at WL until the 4/3 deal came out. Now we're staying 7 nights at GF.
Our other reservation was originally July 2-16 at the GF and BC. We switched dates and now we're June 20-27 at GF CL and June 27-July 6 at BC. The second week doesn't qualify for the 4/3 deal so I'm hoping for either another deal or a really good AP rate for that week.

We were already booked at CBR, but we upgraded with the 4/3 deal to the Polynesian GV 1/18-1/25 with the dining plan and 7 day park hoppers. With the gift card we actually saved money from our previous reservation at CBR. :) First time ever staying at Poly and I never could have afforded it without the 4/3 deal. POFQ Water view
7 day park hoppers
Quick dining option (this is great for us because the original DDP is just TOO much food for us)
it comes out to 1911.00 with the trip insurance
We always go in Feb. but thought we would try Jan this year.
This beats our Sept. '09 bounceback by about $500+
Oh, BTW it's just DH and me
I'm thinking this is a pretty good price

Just booked April 5th -12th (last day is Easter) at Coronado, 1 day tickets, 2 adults, 2 disney adult kids, one infant, TWO rooms, regular dining plan, $3198, no insurance. When I called and gave the dates the CRO agent said those dates were blacked out, but when I told her it came up online she went ahead and looked and it worked for her to. On the phone I was able to book both rooms on one reservation. Good luck everyone.

PS. We actually got back on the 9th from our last trip, I do love having an annual pass, but I don't know if i'm totally nuts because we will be driving this trip, and we don't even have a minivan. The baby will be the true wild card in this adventure.

We were suppose to be skipping Disney this coming February and renting a condo and doing other things. When I saw this 4/3 deal we couldn't pass it up. We booked 7 nights February 14-21 at Caribbean Beach resort and we decided to get 10 day tickets with water parks and no expiration (we plan to use only 4 or 5 park days this trip). The total cost was $2534.90
It just seemed to make sense to upgrade our tickets so we can get another trip or 2 out of them. We probably have water park days for many trips to come since we'll have 10 to use.
I'm just so excited to be going back to my favorite vacation place!1:yay:

We were booked at Pop 5/5-5/12 with no DDP and a AAA rate in a preferred room. When the deal came out I said it was no good for us as we are AP holders. Then I worked some numbers and by that night switched to Pop 5/5-5/13 in a Preferred room DxDDP. Then I decided we should just do CBR as I have been dying to stay there.
Final decision:
5/5-5/13

We did not have a trip planned per se I was hoping to do 1 or 2 nights onsite over my birthday (we live locally) but the costs for the hotels we haven't stayed at were a lot more then I wanted to spend for just 1 or 2 nights. And to go from our home to a value resort was not a value for us since we would spend most of our time at the resort (we park hop from home a lot) so we wanted a deluxe resort.
Well the 4/3 deal came out and we booked for a week around my birthday. So a trip was born.

1 day passes which we will use towards renewing our AP's

When is everyone going with their buy 4 get 3 deal? Where will you be? Did you decide to go because of the deal?
We are staying at POFQ 3/14 to 3/21, and we only decided to go because of the deal...and it's during my birthday! I've never been to WDW for my birthday before. I really want to stay at Poly, it's one of four resorts I've never stayed at, but instead I'm going for my birthday and then again in Dec. 2009 for Mousefest! I can live with that!!! :)
So, when are you going and where are you staying?

We had a pre-existing reservation for a split-stay, 2 room-only reservations plus tickets; early February, with the last night jumping in price because it's the first day of Peak season. 4 nights at Coronado Springs water-view, 3 nights at Contemporary tower-theme park view, $672 + $1,404 = $2,076, plus $1,122 for 8-day park hoppers for 2 adults and 2 kids, makes a total of $3,198. I did the split stay because we wouldn't be able to comfortably afford all 7 nights in a MK-view room ... my wife loves Wishes, and the opportunity to give her a view of Wishes from her room for her birthday was just too cool for words.
Then the 4/3 deal came out ...
No room at Contemporary, at all, but I was able to get all 7 nights at Polynesian in a theme park view room. ALong with the 8-day hoppers, the package costs $3,448, but has a net cost of $3,248 due to the $200 gift card.
So all 7 nights on the monorail in a MK-view room is costing me $50 more than 4 nights in a Moderate and only 3 nights in a MK-view room.
And since I was going to take a taxi between CSR and CR round-trip early in the morning of our switch day (so I could check-in early, while the family is still asleep and therefore not have to take any time out of the fun day ahead), it's about an exactly break-even point.
Gotta love it. We had a trip planned anyway. But for no extra cost, we got all 7 days with a MK-view at a monorail resort, versus just 3 days of that.
I also priced out our $3,248 package at rack rate ... $5,491. We're saving $2,243 with the 4/3 deal!

We're going 4/11-4/18 at POR. I used the deal as an excuse for my husband :rotfl: We were supposed to go to the Outer Banks with his sister and her family. I wanted to go further south for the warmth! I'll be on maternity leave, so getting the week was easy for me!

We were going from Jan 11th - 21st for $2367.52 10 nights staying at POP with 9 day park hoppers and the dining plan.
Then the 4/3 deal came out and we changed it to two reservations staying Jan 11th -25th for 14 nights at POP with 10 day hoppers an 1 day base tickets with the first week dining, and the two $200.00 gift cards for the 2nd week of dining for $2057.80.
We get to stay 4 more nights, and saved $309.72 plus get $400.00 in gift cards over our first reservation. That was a no brainer!

Sorry to hear your trip is a no go. Maybe things will change and you will still get to go.
We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 disney adults) staying 10 nights at POR March 3-13 for $3021.75 and that is with water park and more tickets no hopping. Some things have come up and my DH may not be going so that will be less. I thought about going to just 7 nights but I can't resist 3 more days for that price.
We originally had our trip booked at $3981 so this saved us over $900 plus we get the $200 GC. I am planning to add the dining plan before we go as well. What we saved covers our airfare so we are ready to go!
IS IT MARCH YET!:thumbsup2

We were going to go next December because our souviner from our last June trip will be arriving in February. But, we just couldn't pass up this deal.
We'll be there June 7-14, CR MK view! A year later with an extra member in our family...lol...the magic of Disney.

We are also going Jan 10-17 at Pop!
We were planning on going at that time anyway because of the Marathon and we wanted to take advantage of the slow crowds and value season prices.
But before the deal we were only planning to stay onsite for the night before the marathon. After that, we were going to rent a condo. The deal enabled us to stay onsite for the whole trip. We also were only going to spend four days at the parks...this enabled us to spend seven!

Well, I was "thinking" about going and decided that we would only make a trip if there was a good discount. I waited until the 4/3 came out and booked. We are staying at CSR for 9 nights, 1/24 through 2/2. The $200 gift card is such a bonus, plus my husband will turn 46 during our trip so we get the $75 birthday card to spend, and I think I'll have about $250 in Disney VISA rewards we can use. That all makes me happy, happy!

Cancelled trip for first week of December in favor of this new deal in January. January 25-31 at AKL - two Savannah view rooms. Saved us $2K or so, plus we're getting two $200 gift cards. Can't believe it and can't wait! I'm thinking of adding the dining plan with the $$ we saved.

Ok, so I posted on here a week or so ago that we'd booked the 4/3 deal for CSR for 22-29 March - well it seems we got a bit deal happy and we've now booked to stay at CBR 29/03-05/04!! We'll have to see what happens and if there's better deals out there offsite (dare I say it) for the second week, but for now I'm on :cloud9:

We were booked for Mardi Gras, but I had already changed my mind and decided to go for SWW in June. Yeah, I know it's June. I must be crazy. But it's STAR WARS! And DH, DS9 and DS7 love, love, LOVE Star Wars. Then, before I called my AAA agent to change, the 4/3 offer came out. We are paying $240 more than our original trip, but we upgraded from POR to GF. And I think June is peak season isn't it? Total price $4005 for 7 nights at GF with DDP and 7day base tix for 2A3C.

Right now I'm booked at POP for May 9th-17th, but am hoping an AP discount comes out that beats the 4/3 deal. I usually go every May, Sept, and Dec with an occasional Jan and Oct trip thrown in. This year we did the free dining in Sept, but decided to do a cruise in Jan, (instead of the usual Dec WDW trip) and was undecided about going back in May for the Flower Festival. When the 4/3 deal came out, I decided to take it as a sign that I was meant to go.:)
We will be staying at the POP from May 11th-18th! I only saved about $300 with the b4g3 deal, but that's still $300! I wasn't even planning on staying in Disney until this deal came out!

We are staying at POP May 26-June 2 with the 4/3 deal. (I was hoping for a free dining pin, but no such luck!! )We had already planned on going during that time, but had not made reservations until the deal was released. We were thrilled to get a discount of any kind, as it seemed that there weren't usually many released for our travel dates.
we'll be there May 23-May 30. We were going anyway, and getting hopper tickets for full stay & getting DDP just like before (3rd year in a row:thumbsup2 ) Pop Century (stayed there for Free Dining last September & loved it.)
Previous years we just had a 20% off room AAA discount, so this year is wayyyyy more better.
Hey you two! Looks like some of our dates will be at the same time.
I booked May 28th through June 6th. Three adults, standard room at Pop, 9 days of tickets with water parks & more and the dining plan for just $2,700.00!

We were booked for POFQ for 4/22-4/28 (6 nights). When the 4/3 deal came out we jumped on it. I only saved around $100 (4 adults with dining plan) but my cousin who is travelling with us saved almost $300. But now we are booked for 7 nights, have an extra day on our park tickets and extra dining plan points, so I'm happy!
What is the $200 gift card you are all mentioning? I didn't hear anything about that.

We will be adding the Park Hopper and DDP after the New year. I could have done a 1 day, but I did not think of that :(

Now Booked :lovestruc
YC
7 day Base Tickets
DDP

Thru AAA without 4/3 discount YC was $4,480 with 5 day tickets so even though I'm spending almost $700 more I saved $800:laughing: .
I thought about staying with POR with price reduced to $2,714 or booking Poly but ended up booking YC because it had Queen beds which is better for us, was $200 less than Poly and others said YC pool was way better for 3 DS. Really wanted BC over YC because of refurb but it was all booked :sad1:
Also thinking about upgrading to Park Hopper tickets because we'll be so close to Epcot - Spread the world Showcase across all our days...
