Just like to get opinions on what you like about the DVC at HH?

Thanks

If you're talking about HH the island, vs. HH the resort, that's easy. It's the beach! This is the best beach I've ever been to, including those in Hawaii and the Caribbean.

For us, it's the great family time. Nothing can beat spending time at the beach, building sand castles every day. Hanging out at the pool watching the kids play and reading a book. The excitement in our 7 year old voice when he found out the tide was high so he could go crabbing. Wandering around the resort and stopping to play at the park or play shuffleboard. It's sitting out on the balcony and listening to the quiet surroundings. Watching the kids trying to catch the little crabs when the tide is low. It's the breeze of the salt water. Riding our bikes to the beach knowing when we got there we'd be cooling off in the waves. It's the reason we added on there and plan on spending summer vacations there for many years to come.

The beach and the marina come to mind.
DVC HH is like BWV is some respects. You can walk outside your villa and take a short walk to Shelter Cove Marina. There you will find 6 or 7 restaurants plus numerous shops.

We go there in early March and it's easily 15 degrees warmer than Richmond. Spring is already in midstride there. Gorgeous azaleas and rhodedendrons everywhere. Shade from the Live Oaks...yet you're so close to the ocean. I love the nice clean family atmosphere, unlike some of the other beaches I've been to. Finally, shopping at the outlets, and lots of good vittles!!!

Riding bikes on the beach with the ocean on one side and fabulous houses on the other.

Definitely the marsh ! Sunsets over the marsh and Broad Creek, the constantly changing animal and bird life on the marsh between low tide and high tide. I am an inland NY girl and the Low country atmosphere is constantly amazing and charming.

My husband would agree with Debi - the marsh and the tides were his favorites. He said he could happily sit on the porch all day long and watch the tide go in and out of the marsh. With an 8-foot difference, it really was pretty amazing.

My personal favorite was the flat bike riding and great bike paths. Living in hilly NH with no bike paths, it was a great change to be able to ride without getting seriously winded, and to ride safely most of the time. Since our 6yo is still pretty tentative on a 2-wheeler, this was particularly important to us this year.

I also wanted to mention that I just loved the attitude of the CM's, from the social directors to the housekeepers. Everyone really had that "Disney difference" that I had come to expect at Disneyworld but wasn't sure would be here. I was so impressed that everyone always said hi to us and that one time when we were doing Tommy's treasure hunt, one of the CM's stopped to ask if we needed help with anything (I guess we looked a little lost).

Needless to say, we're adding on as soon as the paperwork comes through.
