Waitlisted for 1 day at BCV

I called today to switch my ressies from OKW to BCV as it is the 7 month window for non home resorts. I need Dec. 3-8. She says we have every night except Dec. 5 :eek: right smack in the middle.
So I'm waitlisted for that one night :D Can you just imagine if it doesn't become available? :rolleyes:

You must be trying for something other than a studio. I was told by MS a week ago that there are (were???) plenty of studios available at BCV.

This morning, I was able to switch our OKW 1BR reservation to BCV for Dec 4-8 without any problem.

Sounds like the DIScon dates are becoming popular!

Me not going to DIScon 2002??? Perish the thought. I ordered my AP today. I've got my room from 12/1 to 12/8 (so far). I'll be there.

If you and your DH can't stay with Barb on 12/5, you are more than welcome to spend the night in my studio. :D

I just got my next night, with no problem. She did ask me what my final check out day would be. They never asked that before. I was on hold for a bit longer than I usually am, too. I was thinking "I know who's tying up the lines. It's all those DISers making DIS-CON reservations!! :D :D :D :D

I got my next night too. And I got asked the same question about checkout date. I think that they are trying to reduce the number of confirmation letters that they send out. I was asked that same question when I booked my first day, so I don't think that it's unusual. The computers at DVC did seem a bit slow this morning.

I mentioned something about how the rooms are going so quickly. Larry (from DVC MS) agreed that the rooms are being booked at an "above normal" pace. Hmmmmm. I wonder why.

I was going to suggest that, if need be, the boys could share one room and the girls the other, but that sounded a bit odd, even for me. :D

Okay I called yesterday about December 8-11 for a two bedroom at BCV. I needed a break from OKW try something new. Well the nice MS said that there was plenty available. Duh since I had called about Dec 1-4 I for got about the seventh month window so what do you guys think should I book day by day. Also I called about one night in August the 18th to be exact and I got a studio standard at BW. The lady (later and different MS) said was I lucky cause those rooms are never available.

I think I am rambling. Has anyone seen the rooms at BCV? How are they...

Okay one more thing what is DIS/con. I havent logged in a while.

Just back from OKW studio for three nights; we stopped over for the tour of the BCV rooms at Boardwalk - just like BW rooms. Very nice, tiling in the kitchenette area, pretty colors. The outside is just like BC only green paint.

We're staying 12/1-6 in a 2 BR - see you there!

I called yesterday and they told me on Dec 5 for studeo at BCV. So we have VWL(our home) Dec 1 - 6 and BCV for Dec 6-9. We are on waitlist for Dec 1 - 6 for BCV. A DVC mini meet sounds great to me. I would like to meet Doc, he and DVCReg were so helpful last Nov when we had plenty of questions with some last minute changes that happened to us.

We are also waitlisted at BCV for December 5th only. I was able to get Dec 6-9. MS told me that as more memberships are sold, more rooms will be made available (for point ressies) at BCV. MS practically guaranteed that Dec 5th would come through. Wish I got that in writing ;)

DIS-CON is the official convention of this site. It's the second year for the convention. It's being held from Dec 4-8 at WDW. Check out the DIS Convention Board to find out more about it. :D :D

I just finished making my December BCV studio ressies this morning. I think that MS will be relieved that they won't be getting a daily call from me. I had no problem making the reservation in the 7 month window, but I am nonetheless relieved that I got all the days that I needed without having to resort to the waitlist.

Great news Debbie. I'm still waiting for my confirmation letter. DVC told me that they would wait until I was done adding days to my reservation before sending the letter, so I'm not worried (yet).

I guess we won't have to fret about sharing rooms on the 5th. :D
