Our Tempo Fountain access code came today! :cool1:

But there's a problem...

My DW got a card and so did I... with two DIFFERENT access codes! Does that mean we get two tiles??? That can't be right. Why would we have two different codes?

Anybody?

FYI... I just left a detailed message for my guide explaining what happened and asking for clarification.

I didn't see any use calling MS because I'm fairly certain they wouldn't have a clue.

If I hear back from Nick before I see an explanation here, I'll happily post it.

I'm pretty sure the first one that gets used just cancels out the other one but I want to make sure that both are "equally valid" if that makes sense.

Still nothing from my guide.

Just thought I'd bump this up because so many of us have expressed interest in knowing when the cards actually started being distributed.

I got the card in the mail today too.

I didn't get my card yet, but I was wondering if the tiles are like the pavers? Where you have a choice of pictures - year -name - city - state?

anybody know what they are putting on their tile yet?

We just did ours! It will say
Jamie, Joe
Roman&Bryce Hall

We ran out of space so we put the boys' names close together.

Our one at AKL says Hall's Hideaway

I got my activation code today but the problem is the code is 6 characters long and the site will only take 5 characters. Did anyone else have this problem?

Yes, but it ended up taking the first five digits.

Thanks. It worked.

I'm still waiting for my code, but I was wondering where is the link that takes you to the website? I thought my guide had said it was going to be a link on my dvcmember login, but I haven't found it. (Or, is the link in the paperwork somewhere?)

The link is on a special sheet that came with your documents. :)

The link is on a special sheet that came with your documents. :)It's also in the mailing they send you with your activation code, so once you get that in the mail (and decide what you want to squeeze into your two 16-character lines) you'll be good to go! :thumbsup2

WilsonFlyer and SamR,
Thanks for the info.

Still haven't heard from my guide as to why we may have received two codes. Did anybody else get two (or a postcard to each owner named on the deed with different codes)?

I'm a little concerned about having to use the first five characters and not all six so I'm assuming that it's OK since it let me in and let me do it. :confused3

Proof, yet again, that Disney's web development team is top drawer. I hope those folks aren't the same ones that write the controls and sequencing for Space Mountain! :rotfl2:

I used "mine". I'd love to try the one my wife received just on the off chance that they accidently did give us two but I'm scared to death that the primary one (mine; already entered) would be overridden by using hers.

What to do, what to do! :rotfl2:

Can you guys tell me what you're talking about? I bought at BLT as well and am wondering if you're talking about tiles. And how we can do one too. Thanks

This offer was to the first 1000 existing DVC owners that added on 160+ points at BLT.

If this is your initial DVC purchase, I don't believe it is available to you. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I'm fairly certain that statement is true.

Had you qualified (met both criteria), I would have thought your guide would have made you aware since it's pretty significant.

Many of us purchased in the first day or two just to assure that we would be included in this group. Most of us knew full well that we would be giving up some incentives soon to follow (there were none when we bought) to get this guarantee.

Life is sometimes a series of trade-offs to get what you want. ;)

Did you call and ask just in case? Reading some of the other incentives and deals as well as the expected slow down-seems they may want to have you down spending cash-even if it means a free room at SSR. Just wondering.

Thanks for the info. That's so cool for those folks that get to do it!

I'm going down in a couple of weeks anyway. I'm going to meet with our guide to see the BLT models and just shoot the bull.

Think there's any chance? I never really thought about it considering we bought the second day.

I never realized how hard it was to come up with a cool idea that had to fit into 2 lines, 16 characters each - other than the regualr Names/Location tiles they show you.

We got ours in the mail last week and had to decide what we were going to put on it. When we went to enter our code, it too only took the first 5 characters of our activation code. I assumed this was ok since it opened up the page successfully.

Rob :)
