is it me or do people have crappy attitudes on eBay?

I too have been having problem with a buyer on ebay.
She sent payment-three days later I tell her it's going out in the morning- she wanted a tracking number- got that to her- three hours after getting the tracking number she pulled the payment so I didn't ship it (dh works for fedex and it was still at the station), she gets all I"m so sorry with me that she had a wrong cc on paypal- could she give me the cc numbers over the phone so I know she's legit-I told her no, only through pay pal- she's crappy because she really needed for this weekend.

I tell her that I"m not comfortable with the whole transaction, things seems a bit fishy and tell her to forget it.

So I hop on my email to find out yesterday evening, after I got off the computer, she sends another immediate payment and then three hours after I get THAT notification of payment, she files a dispute she hasn't gotten her item she paid for!!!

Geesh,,,she's crazy!

Something sounds funny, I would contact ebay or paypal myself about this one.

I would contact paypal/ebay about the situation, maybe stating fraud. Sounds way too fishy to me. I would cancel the transaction personally. Until that money is in your account and you've transfered the funds, do not send the package.

I don't see how they can pay you through paypal then retract it, I didn't even know it was possible to do that??

Maybe I'm in the wrong (feel free to let me have it) but I won an auction using BIN this morning for around $90, had to dash out the door to get DS3 to preschool, clean the house, pick up both kids from school, get them to their sports practices, and get back to the computer for the first time today to log into Ebay and pay for this and another item.

And darn if that seller hadn't sent me a snippy email saying "When can I expect to see payment? That's kind of the point of a Buy It Now, is a pay for it now too. Please let me know if there's a problem"

WTH? It hasn't even been 12 hours! Now I'm tempted to not pay her until tomorrow or the next day just for spite I don't sit around stalking my buyers, demanding payment for BINs 12 hours after they win them. I don't even invoice until 72 hours have passed and I haven't heard boo.

Ugh, just venting makes me feel better... What is the deal?

This same story was just listed on the above thread a few days ago ... something definitely not right ... I would not send.

Ebays new attitude that only the buyers count is what is creating these kinds of buyers..or bringing them out of the woodwork

Buyers now control whether you can even sell or not if they ding your stars enough...and they do because they dont even understand it

Yup,it is frustrating to say the least..

Ebay has turned into "buyers have all the rights" and it is so awful!!

I have gotten 3 negitive feedbacks after i *thought* resoulutions to whatever problems were said and done, or people not buying insurance or whatnot.. and i as a seller, can't even leave negitive fb for a buyer.. its NOT FAIR.
I use to really really care about ebay, and my fb score, but you know, i am so sick of the whole thing.. And i have to tell you, the MEN that buy from me (when i sell Dad's fishing/hunting stuff) are MUCH MORE impatient and rude when it comes to buying!!! I have had emails the next day saying, "Have you shipped yet, when will i get this"... geez, what do they do, stay home and stalk their mailmans all day at their cabins in the woods??

Sorry for the rant, but i too have been burned by Ebay lately - especially since all the "great changes".

Not to mention i also had someone leave me "nuetral" fb b/c they wanted my mailing addy to send a check -- uh, HEEEELLLOO.. that shows up in ebays email, geez!!! Obviously these buyers don't fully understand the feedback system.
