Here is our travel story if you'd like to see it. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=28703349
I'll post more as we go along, but it's mid 80's and humid, not exactly November weather. Tomorrow supposed to be hot also, then the bottom drops out (to a point).
CSR is still beautiful as always. Of course we requested Cabana 9B, and of course, it's kinda getting stuff done to it right now. So I had asked if our room from last year was available. It wasnt, I had booked a standard view, but after smiling right to the young lady working the check in, we got a water view. Now, most people like 1st floor, and they were going to do that, and I kinda frowned and said we like upper floors so we dont have to listen to people above us. Heck, I didnt know CSR casitas had 4 floors :lmao: That's were I'm at and LOVE IT. Beatufil water view that I'll post later. Casita 3 much more on the 'El Centro' end. Hey, I asked for a suite but couldnt smile good enough for that ;).
Ate at pepper market, and got our mugs!!! So here we are!!!
Oh, btw, what exactly is in a wet burrito.. I've seen pics of it, but what's in it??

If it hasn't changed from the last time I was there, it's $9.95 for Broadband a day. they usually can help you with the connection cords so you don't have to bring them.

I have NOT forgotten about you all! We didnt get a chance to goto walmarts last night. We needed to get my buddy all checked in at AS Music. Then we had the steam train tour this AM, THAT's an early tour :), but VERY VERY fun. Jim is AWESOME! My friend and I then hooked up with my wife and we headed over to FW to eat at the buffet. We then decided to hit epcot for a while. We kept an eye on the weather, and when it looked like it was going to be good, we headed east to watch the space shuttle launch :). We left a little late, but thought we had found a perfect spot along the road. We saw bright lights on the ground and thought that was the pad. Well.. It wasnt :(. The pad was to our left and was obstructed by trees :( and we were much further then we thought we were. Oh well, we DID get to watch a launch live. Dunno if any of those pics came out or not.
So today was rather busy :). Weather was very warm, we got 'home' just a bit ago and it appears we had a little rain in the last hour or so.
I really cant talk much about crowds as we really havent 'toured' yet :)

Casita 3 IMO is great It's a short walk IMO to the 'important' end of El Centro.... THE FOOD!!! Also, one thing I figured out,and looking at the map, it appears that Casita 1, 2 and 3 are the only rooms that you can stay dry if it's raining as they are connected to El Centro. There is one little area right where the entrace for the Maya is that is a 'kinda' roof, it's a tight mesh of some sort so the rain doesnt come thru fast but you get dripped on some. But it's only abou 20 foot or so. Other then that I walked all the way from my room to El Centro in a downpour.. THAT's a bonus IMO
Looking at a map I cant tell if C2 can make it all the way covered or not. I think there may be a short area between that isnt attached.. Still wouldnt be bad though.

If you look on this map, where the #3 is (just to the left of the word Lago Dorado, that's about where I am staying, facing the lake. If you still use this picture, the row of 'waves' right above the word Lago Dorado is a straight shot as to what I would be looking at.

I was in room 3441.
I'm sorry everyone for 'ignoring' this post, but I hadnt remembered to turn on the subscription to this thread!!
Not really a lot I can add to tell the truth. As buzz said, we switched wednesday night to SSR since we bougt DVC. One thing I will say though, the folks at CSR are still IMO some of the best front desk folks going. When we were getting ready to do the move I had accepted the fact that I MAY get 2 nights back (we were moving on Wed, and were supposed to check out on Saturday). Well, they did far and above over what I expected. They refunded me Wednesdays money too!! They were happy that we had gotten DVC and since we were still staying on property they hooked us up!
I still can not say enough about how much we did love staying at CSR. Even though we bought DVC and we are looking forward to it, I'm sure there are still some CSR trips in our future! The biggest reason we got the DVC so was when our extended family comes, we will have bigger rooms, and a FULL kitchen, that's really important when you have a lot of people trying to eat at WDW ;). But if it's just my wife and I and we are saving or short on points, I can almost 100% promise, that CSR will be where we are at.
We bought at AKV so we're just down the street, so we may still have to make a trip to the pepper market when we are at AK.
I'll admit, staying at SSR, while a really nice place, the bus rides were hell. I really do like how, IMO CSR is nice and centrally located, with the exception of DTD, but we're not really DTD folks anyway. I'll be staying at SSR one more time to use up our developer points, but after that, we wont be staying there again, because of the buses.

Honestly CSR will always be our first home as it was where we stayed our first trip ever to WDW.
Seeing all the CSR lovers in this thread, actually makes me a little sad, almost like I'm a traitor :guilty: You know that feeling you get when you either move, or graduated high school etc, and you promise to keep in touch with each other, but due to different schedules and such all the sudden you start to drift apart. As funny as it sounds, that's almost how I feel. :sad2:

Honestly CSR will always be our first home as it was where we stayed our first trip ever to WDW.
Seeing all the CSR lovers in this thread, actually makes me a little sad, almost like I'm a traitor :guilty: You know that feeling you get when you either move, or graduated high school etc, and you promise to keep in touch with each other, but due to different schedules and such all the sudden you start to drift apart. As funny as it sounds, that's almost how I feel. :sad2: :hug:DVC members can stay at CSR too!
