What is the best way to pay for ship and excursion charges if you are not using a credit card? Will they use a debit card with the Visa logo or should I just get traveller's checks? Can I pre-pay when I boad using cash? Will they cash the traveller's checks on board? Only eleven days left and I have to work through the 15th. I'm afraid I'm going to forget something and I am in semi panic mode. Too much to do, I need some magic to help me get all of this done (grass needs cutting, housework, packing, anyway you get the picture). I hope everyone with upcoming cruises has a great trip!

Travelers Checks would be your safest option. VISA debit cards are not liability-limited like regular credit cards. And of course there's no safety in cash. Yes, they will accept and cash travelers checks.

Dave, thanks for the information. I have two other questions which have probably been answered many times but I can't remember which post. Am I correct in believing that every person in the room gets their own KTTW card? If so can you get seperate statements showing which person charged what? My parents are sharing a room with us and I don't want to get everything confused. What is a lanyard? I bought two fishing license holders will these work for the KTTW card? :)

Each KTTW card shows up on the statement with the persons name and what they have spent. We went several times during the week and got copies so our DD and DS would know how much they had left to spend, they had saved their own money for the cruise(plus a little extra from mom and dad!). Was very easy to keep track of. As for the lanyard if yours has a sleeve to slid the card into it will work, if it is the kind that has the hook on the end, your would have to take a hole punch, which someone else mentioned on this board, and punch a hole in the card, make sure not to punch the magnetic strip on the back, then hook it through the hole.:smooth:
