I am planning a quickie trip on Friday/Saturday and am considering doing priceline. Since I have such little time to plan, ANY advice regarding priceline is appreciated. I have been out of the boards for about 4 months.
Current estimated prices? What areas do you mark to get the 5* near disney World? What hotels are on the 5* listing? Is anyone having luck lately with the priceline?
Thanks bunches!!!!
kathy
I suggest you check at Sheryl's biddingfortravel board:

BTW, priceline doesn't offer 5* - they have 4* and a category called Resort. The Gaylord Palms has come up recently as a 4* and there's been some excitement about that.

Lots of people are getting the Hilton in DD for about $65. It's a great location & a decent hotel. The other resort*hotels that have come up on biddingfortravel.com are they wyndham palace (DD) & the marriott orlando world center. People did get Gaylord palms but it was only for 1 weekend, as far as I can tell. And they took a chance by bidding higher than the other hotels typically go for.
Good luck!
