Anyone with Rogers...have you gotten your free gift yet?

I checked it out yesterday and apparently won a free tego skin for my phone or mp3. So...I make a skin for my ipod and made it all pretty. When I got to the checkout and put in the pin number...it's only a $10 discount. I still need to pay $8.

We got one offer in the mail, ordered a cd & it arrived quickly. Then we got an email offer - the one where you choose the gift wrapped boxes to "see" what you've won? We won something, whatever, I had a hard enough time picking something the first time so donated this one to the United Way.

i got a free gift offer a couple of months ago..I took the 6 month sub to Chatelaine Magazine.

That's a good offer...I would have definately taken that.

There were 3 choices: A free movie rental from Rogers Video, a sub. to Rogers Magazine or a free Tego skin for phone or mp3.

I should have just donated to United Way.

I got the Rego skin as well..

unfortunatly, it's just ONE skin, and Tego considers the front and back of the device as seperate skins...

The problem with the donations (and any of the "pay $1 to donate to charity "X") is that it is less a donation to the charity, and more a donation to the company hosting the promotion.

They are collecting massive tax cuts from YOUR charitable donation.

I would rather give $100 directly to a charity then $1 to them through a corporate program.

They certainly appreciate their customers a lot more than Bell Canada does.
