Bikes at OKW

Was just wondering if you're allowed to take the rental bikes on the path that leads to DD. I'd love to take them over to the treehouse villas and ride around.


Also, on a side note, I want to congratulate PamOKW on topping 2000 posts (on the new software :). Pam, you were here when I found this board in May, 1998, and are still providing as wonderful insight as you were then. I'll always remember your email when I was SO angry at Rich for one of his typical comments! Thanks for the memories....

you can definately take the bikes to DD...all around the marketplace..over to Disney Institue and also over to the Treehouse Villas..its very easy to ride to these areas..and also good exercise,,there are also 2 ways to ride the bikes over to Port Orleans and then on to Dixie Landings,,,have fun :eek:

My family and I have always rented bikes (the two wheelers and the surrey's) and were ALWAYS TOLD you must stay on OKW property and shown a map with a diagram of where you can and cannot ride. One time we tried to bike to DD but were pulled over and told to turn around. Remember you are responsible ($$$$$) for the bike if something happens to it.
