Argghh flippety flippety flip:headache: :headache: , if I could kick myself, I would but I'm not that flexible lol. As you know, all this while, we haven't told the kids that we're going to DLRP. Hubby has had a couple of close calls but I have been very good.... till just now !! In the car (on the way to pick Adam up from nursery), Louise was telling me that her teacher said that although the kids are not at school during the Xmas hols, many grown-ups still have to work bla bla bla. I then said 'Like Daddy. After we come back from Disney, he has to go back to work on Monday'. I didn't even realise I said it until she (very very quickly) said 'Mummy, you've told me where we're going'.... only then did I realise what I had said (and insert choice of many swear words hereafter) !! She was well excited though but I couldn't see her face. Arghh!! lol. Obviously, she can't wait to tell Daddy that I accidently told her. He'll have that smug look on his face now coz I mucked up lol. Anyway, Louise wants to bring her autograph book (there're still quite a few blank pages from our previous trip) to get the autographs of the characters we didn't see in April. I said she could get a new one but she said it would be wasting pages lol.

Oh no is it a greasy place? We are looking forward to eating here and have never ever been there before. I could always eat the bread roll eh?
I'm seriously bricking it, in want of a better phrase!:rotfl:
The worst time I was ill was Jan 07 and that was really bad (they called the doctor who ended up being a fire fighter on a push bike:rotfl: ), been ill over there 06 and 08 too but fingers crossed this time!:)
Thing is I'm really healthy, never get ill, hardly ever get a cold let alone anything else so this freaks me out big style!

I think Annette's in itself is not overly greasy as such but after days of eating the usual stuff (burgers, chips, pizza, etc), it can get a bit much on your system. We were alright and obviously there are loads of other 'more healthy' options on the menu but sometimes, a burger fills me up more than the other options on there. I never thought I'd be so pleased to see a plate of Caesar salad in my life :rotfl: (starter at Walt's).

Definitely! We had it on our last night - our 3rd 6.30am - Midnight too! If it was a one off it would have been fine, but I was just over tired, over excited and over rich-fooded!

Haha, well peptobismol is my lifesaver, as soon as im excited/nervous everything in my stomach turns to acid which makes me feel super sick.

PB cures it very fast. And then helps with the other problems too...

But i wouldn't want to prevent myself from throwing up if my body wanted to, better to get it out that way i think!

It is hard. I'm very tempted to have hypnosis for my IBS, as I'm young to have it I think ad I dont want it to get worse with time.

I know its mostly mental, but even then I can't reason with myself. :(

I wonder if acupuncture would help?

Also, I was only sick to get the grease up as my stomach couldn't take it after a long day - i didnt have to sprint to a bathroom, and i wasn't ill at all. Just excited, over tired and full of unhealthy food!

You'll be fine!!

(Tip though - DO NOT go to Marrakech!!!!!!!!!!!)

We were actually waiting for the bus to the airport so we were in the reception area of the santa fe. I would go to the bathroom then go and sit back down at reception then 16 secs later I would be running again:rotfl: I'm laughing now but it wasn't funny! At one point I remember pushing past Goofy and it seemed like everything was hazy and shakey???

The library is currently filling up with frantic students grabbing as many books as they can off the shelves...... I can hear someone swearing and saying: "It's got to be in by 12!".... Is it wrong that I feel a bit smug??? :p

I have to write a blog over Christmas, but thats much less formal and doesn't need to be handed in until January!

I came down ill last night feeling nauseous and achy and fainted. couldn't sleep much during the night as no paracetamol and my muscles were really aching, felt sick this morning and hot and clammy though the pain has gone as brought some anadin, feel really tired and I have a presentation for uni that needs to be done today so can't even go to bad, having trouble concentrating however it has to be done. It is worth 20% of the unit mark!!

Afternoon! I've just finished packing our clothes (well, except DH's - he can do that himself when he gets in from work later) and I have to say I haven't done too badly really. Only half the suitcase is full. My theory is if we need more clothes, then we can/have to buy it there;) .

Also, I've just looked up train times for trains from St Pancras on Sunday night and there are no direct trains back here that day:headache:  . It would've been such an easy 40-minute journey but now, we would have to catch the tube to Victoria and get the train from there. It's easy enough that way I know but it's not what I want to do really after a long day when we're all tired and just want to sit down on our bums all the way home lol.

It's easy enough that way I know but it's not what I want to do really after a long day when we're all tired and just want to sit down on our bums all the way home lol.

you think the sunday before xmas that they would have better train journeys or atleast the ones they run in the week every one coming home for christmas

Hahah, love it!!!

Just to say - I'm looking into getting acupuncture for my IBS, as apparently it's an amazing cure for it.

Also there's and audio program called IBS 100 or something which has amazing reviews, you just listen to it for 20 minutes at night in bed - might really be worth a go!!! :)

You've taken me back to my school days. Whenever there were any sporting events (I don't do sports lol), I used to want to fall ill just before so that I could get out of it. We have ceiling fans in our rooms and I also had an air-cond unit in my room (Malaysia's a very hot country) - used to turn the fan & air-cond on full blast, take a shower, not dry myself and then just stood in front of the air-cond. Didn't work though :sad2: :rotfl:

Ooh I love the Lion King in the west end, we have seen it a few times. The 1st time we went they sent our interval drinks to the wrong bar so a steward took us back stage to get up to the bar on the correct floor. We had to walk through a wig and costume area so I made sure I walked really really slowly!!

Am finally beginning to feel a bit better and have been wrapping Christmas pressies, didn't realise quite how much Lottie has got and there are still more in the loft!!! Think that we're going to need an extension so she has somewhere to put them all!

Lol, I'm working a Late Xmas Day/Early Boxing Day so Neil can have the fun of putting all the playmobil together and then I can play with it when I get home :rotfl:

It's actually getting to the point where we are going to get quotes for having an extension put on so that we can have a larger kitchen/dining area and then put up a stud wall for a playroom!

Hi everyone:)

Finished uni now for christmas, did my presentation today which I think went okay. At least I can work at home now doing my essays. I can't wait till may when I am done.

Has anyone ever booked a last minute trip to DLP? I want to book a trip for DD for her birthday which is end of Jan however I can't book anything till two weeks before her birthday. I don't care where we stay as long as it is a Disney hotel.

I'm going to have to start going church it seems if i want to secure Kyra a place in the primary school her nursery is attached too.

My brothers best friends FIL is the vicar who baptised Kyra so i think we will attend his sunday service twice a month or something from next year.

I'm not that religious but if i have to be to get Kyra in the school i want then so be it.

Join the club - I'm working until 5:30 Christmas Eve as normal - I don't have enough holiday to ask for the time off over Christmas, so I'll be working a full 9 - 5:30 every day that's not a bank holiday (until I go to DLRP anyway).

I'm good thanks.

For all those who have followed my saga with the ambulance service. I spoke to the lady today who is the training co-ordinator. She informed that I would have been able to strat my training in January even though I wouldn't have had my C1 driving licence. She has apologised & basically said to deal with her & not through the Surrey HQ as they are no help. I have now been given another training date for February & she will arrange for my driving theory & practical. Shame I wasn't told this last week before I retracted my notice:rolleyes:

That used to be what I did for a living.... About four two hour parties per day at a weekend, full of hyper children aged between one and twelve.... :faint:

Please keep your fingers crossed for me that the flights don't go before then:wizard:
