Hi everyone, Hope you are well. I have just over a month before my trip!!!!
And I'm after some ideas for what to pack. I'm sure Im going to forget something.
Some of you may already know it will be my then 17mth old daughters first trip. So even more stuff to remember!!!!
Any ideas of things you have forgotten on previous trips etc. Would be great. :yay:

The only thing I forgot was the sponsorship forms for my AP's and the reservations for the hotels and ferry :scared1:

I'd say with a little one, make sure you have enough milk and snacks for the journey and first night and also make sure you take calpol/medised as these are impossible to find at DLRP

If wee one is still in nappies take as many as poss, if I remember correctly the nappies were alot dearer there.
medicine for adults and child for upset tummy.
warm blanket or cosytoes for the wee ones buggy
gloves, hat etc
comfort toy for night time

these things mentioned I haven't forgotten but just in my 'DO NOT FORGET LIST' if you know what I mean!lol

My 3 year old has been out of nappies since the day we got back last January (nights too) BUT I'm still taking some just incase he gets a sore belly!:)

A small first aid kit, Calpol and paracetamol as these are super hard to get hold of on site, and be prepared for the weather to throw everything it can at you.

we took dd on her first trip to DLP at 12 months, and we've kind of taken similar items on every trip since. Most items have already been mentioned:

sachets of calpol, gel for teething
anti bac hand wash (just in case)
nappy sacks
dettol mini spray (most high chairs are clean however)
lots of nappies
lots of layers due to the cold
several spare dummies (if your little one uses one)
I took milton tcold water ablets just to make sure bottles/cups were clean
