2 Questions

1) is MS open tomarrow, Feb. 19th, Presidents Day ?

2) We will be at BWV March 15th to the 24th, however, we have been on a waiting list since Sept. 1st for a 2 BR preferred view at BWV for March 19th. We have not heard from MS on this wait list, so I will assume the waiting list has not worked for us. Fortunately we have a cash ressie for a Cabin at FW for that one evening. Do you think that MS can convert the cash ressie to a points ressie for us ? We won't be using these points anyway, so we won't miss them. I understand that using point outside DVC is not high value use.

Frankly, I would call directly. Even when I've been on the waitlist and haven't been called, I've had luck calling in the morning.Sometimes you get lucky and catch them just as a cancel comes in. It's worth a try.

If you want to continue to be on the wait list let them know. At 30 days they stop the wait list unless you tell them to keep trying. Maybe you'll get good news tomorrow!

To answer your other question, cash ressies cannot be directly converted to points ressies. If the time is available with points when the time comes, you can cancel the cash time and schedule points. You cannot just substitute the points for the cash.

I would begin calling MS frequently to check on availability for the night you're looking for. Even though it is now within 30 days- cancellations do occur. Good Luck.
