Okay, I'm confused, in a prior posting I asked you guys about kingbeds with a daybed -vs- queen bed with bunk at AKL. Some of the responses mentioned the daybeds are in the "deluxe" rooms. How do you get a deluxe room? I have never seen an option, price wise, for this. I have only seen "Standard, savannah or concierge" prices. I think that I would ideally like a king bed with a daybed if the daybed is large enough for a tall child. Can I get this with a savannah view room or do I need to ask for a deluxe room and then pay more for it and if so how much? This is so confusing to have all these choices. At other hotels we normally have a king bed with a sofa sleeper to accommodate myself, my husband and our daughter. We are all tall and like this configuration best. Help!! 35 days!! Marilyn:)

Yes you have to pay more for these deluxe rooms. Some are savannah view, some pool view. This link will take you to the official Disney site with all the info regarding AKL.

For rack rates, the deluxe savannah view is $70 more per night than regular savannah view rooms.
