We are taking the 11/2 cruise with my parents. This cruise is an anniversary milestone cruise for all of us. Their's is a 50'th and ours is a 20'th anniversary. Though we are are a few months from our actual anniversary, is there any point in telling DCL? I don't havve a travel agent, since I booked directly with DCL and throguh DVC for our two rooms.

Any thoughts?

When we sailed last January for our anniversary (16th), I told them at the time of booking. They asked what day we'd like to celebrate it. It was a day early, but it was the last day of the cruise. At dinner, the sang us happy anniversary, brought us a nice anniversary cake and also a pin. My husband was suprised. He thought our dear friends from Indiana had done it, but I told him, that I had. Silly hubby! On our 17th anniversary, we'll be on the Magic Western itinerary and on the last day of the cruise (24th, our anniversary) we'll be on Castaway Cay. We'll probably celebrate at Palo's that evening, too. Paradise!

So, let DCL know, before you forget in all the activities of planning. Your on the DIS, so your a planner. lol.

Have a great cruise and
Happy Anniversary:bounce:

We've always booked thru DCL and if you tell them you are celebrating they will have a cake and song for you during the cruise. If you go to Palo's, let them know also and they will treat you also.

My DH and I were on the ;Magic last October for our 20th, although it wasn't until July of this year. I guess we said something about it when we booked. We got a cake and pins. It was quite a suprise for us. The funny part was that our maitre'd for the restaurant-I forget which- wanted to be in the pictures that others at our table took. It was the only time we saw him the entire cruise.
Enjoy!
