2009 Planning DVD [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi all! I just saw:surfweb: when checked for the new DVD and noticed even though the picture was the same the description of the video was different. :confused: So I ordered one hoping that it was a 2009 dvd. :goodvibes Has anyone else done this? I will let you all know if my dvd ends up being new or still one of the 2008 ones.:snooty:

I did the same thing. I ordered it last week. Hopefully we will get the 2009.

I think it is the new 2009 dvd, because when I went on before it would not allow me to get the dvd sent to me, since we had already received one (I forgot we ordered it earlier this year). So this time I went on because of this post and it took all my information and said it should arrive 2-3 weeks from now, so it looks like it is the new 2009 one. Thanks for posting this.

We ordered one 2 weeks ago, and got ANOTHER 2008 version in the mail earlier this week. :headache:

I was so hoping for one with the 2009 theme........

I ordered mine in early October as well and still havent gotten it. I was hoping that was because it was a new one. My maps are on their way though...

I haven't ordered yet because I wasn't sure if it was 09 so I also can't wait to see if anyone actually gets one!

I just figure I'll wait until January to order. That way it has to be the 2009 version! :rotfl: We're not going until December so that works for us.

YEAH!!!! Mine just came in the mail. We are ordering pizza and wings and watching it tonight. I know it is 2009 because the envelope has the "What will you celebrate?" with the balloons on it. YEAH! I can't wait to watch it. I will let you know tomorrow how it was!!!!

Hi everybody! We watched the 2009 planning video last night and really enjoyed it. We like a lot better than last years. There a couple little parts of it that were on last years video but very little. It was bright and colorful and of course talked about the "what will you celebrate" theme. I will watch again today. LOL
It is funny. My dh and I are in our fifties but we still love (okay me more the dh lol) watching the new video every year. We make a night of it like ordering pizza and winds and having popcorn. You are never to old to feel the magic.
It made me more excited to be there in 47 days.

I got mine yesterday. I was a bit........flummoxed..........to see parts from the last year version in it, but oh well. I really only wanted to see the Recent Additions portion, but it wasnt extensive. Perhaps I will mail my copy to some other waiting soul? :rotfl2:

Got mine yesterday. Started to watch today....it seems like it is the same video with just a new introduction for the new "Celebrate" theme.

Shoot I was so hoping that they would bring Erin, Luke, Dave, and oh I forget the other lady that was on the show.
My youngest walks around yelling Luke Luke Where's luke (from when dave is in the race car at Richard Petty Driving experience).

I think it is Stacey. My son likes that one, from 2006, the best. The mountain tri-fecta.

We like the 2006 version, as well. I keep it in the DVD player in the van and almost always have it playing... the new ones just aren't that much fun.

Hi, I am planning my vacation now for toward the end of September; I was told the DVD was not done yet by a reservation specialist. Is there more accurate information out there?
