We are leaving on the 16th of this month for a 4 night stay at the ASMU hotel; this is a quickie trip as we are going back in August for a week's stay at the AKL. Anyhow, I booked this room in March because my daughter desperately wants to swim in the piano pool and we are Annual Pass holders so it was cheap. Now, my husband is feeling like we should have booked a moderate because they have larger beds (queen vs. double) so we compromised with our daughter and agreed to two night's at the ASMU and then move to a mod resort - any one of them would be fine. Well, that plan was good in theory but there are no rooms at the Inn! I called CRO this morning and they told me that all of the mods are booked up for the time we are there 5/16-5/19 - not just passholder rooms but all of them! I am so bummed; do you think it's worth calling back each day - isn't there a 5 day out no change policy?

None of the moderates have queen beds! Enjoy ASMusic!

If I'm not mistaken all the Moderates have double beds also. You need to go to a deluxe category before the queen beds come about! Hope this helps put your mind at ease. I'm sure you'll have a great time!

Oh man, you guys just made my day!! Now hubby won't have anything to whine about. He was SURE that the mods had queen beds. I really don't know what he's complaining about anyway; he's the octopus.

If you guys don't have a car, you'll have to get Bell Services to move all your stuff, so you're looking at paying double tips.

Just stay at the ASMu--it's only 4 nights.

I also agree about keeping the ASM reservation. It will make your daughter happy so that will be worth it. And look forward to that AKL trip. It's fabulous there.
