Xmas season has really started now... Went to the Disney Store yesterday and it was lovely... Very sparkly and pixiedust:

Sadly couldn't take photos from outside as it was pouring with rain but the whole window display was Tink and Fairies. It was lovely

Here're some photos from the inside of the shop

Nice photos Ema. :) Wish we had a store close by too. Our nearest one is 23 miles away so we probably only go there two or three times a year. We were in Birmingham yesterday for Disney on Ice and afterwards we always go into the city centre to look round the shops but their Disney Store has been relocated and I was ever so disappointed with it. Not only was the store smaller it seemed to be nearly all Hannah Montana and HSM. No snowglobes, no ornaments, nothing at all for adults apart from dressing gowns, pjs and socks. Oh yes, and a couple of scarves.

Obviously I don't buy a snowglobe or expensive ornament every time (I wish :rotfl: ) but I sure liked looking at them. I can remember a few years ago there was always adults Tshirts, sweatshirts, jumpers and even coats. I guess they are only stocking what the public are buying and I suppose it's further evidence of the credit crunch and they can't afford to have the expensive stock just sat there as dead stock. :confused3

On saying that, their store was decorated nicely too and their Christmas stuff was lovely. DH (who collects Disney Christmas tree decorations) treated himself to a Stitch one and yet another one of Jack Skellington.

I miss a disney store, my nearest is a 4hr drive away:sad2: :sad2: . I look forward to a disnet srore whenever i go away and luckily there is one in blackpool which is where the inlaws live so get to it a couple of times a year. Although if there was one closer i think i would be skint as my kids love it almost as much as i do

Is the store in the Blue Water the largest in the UK? The Cambridge one is quite small and is full of HSM and Hannah Montana merchandise.

I don't think so, I think the one on Oxford Street is bigger although it could be close.

I know the guy who is in charge of Disney Retial in the UK so I'll ask him

Lovely pictures Ema!! The last time I was in our Disney Store a couple of weeks ago, they had a small section with Xmas decorations etc. I'm going to pop in again tomorrow (need to buy DS his Xmas pressie from there) to see whether that section has grown bigger. But yeah, otherwise, it's all HSM3 & Hannah Montana stuff. Boo!
