Hi, this is my first try at these - Am designing 48 shirts for Disney this time (yeah, i'm nuts)

I'm trying to decide if I need to use the light paper on these designs. The one here will be on a royal blue shirt. If i use dark, i'll have to cut out the edges and I don't think i can do that because of the names. Suggestions?

Thanks!

How I want it to look on a blue shirt. But what do I do about the white areas?

um, how do i post pics? it won't let me :confused3

(Sorry I can't post directly, I don't have enough posts (need 10?) i'm such a newbie)

7 because it rhymes with 11 and that's almost 12 which is the number of people in our trip. Creative math is my specialty :lmao:

I see them. I like the first one. The second one I can't squint enough to make that work together! LOL

I don't like Peter Pan on it though. Doesn't mesh well with the rest of the pic.

My suggestion is to leave it as is (minus peter! LOL) but do a wide thick black outline around the whole thing and then cut outside the new outer border and put on the shirts. That was there is no wash out of colors and the names stand out against the white.

THanks for the info - Most of the group picked their own ideas for the shirts. I didn't pick peter and the dragon but Kathy loves it, sooo.. Hey it's her shirt.

But how do I get the design to work on a royal blue shirt? minus the white background? Fill in the WDW and 2008 with a diff color and go with light transfer paper?

Not sure on this...

I'm not really sure it's going to work on royal blue shirt with light transfer paper honestly. Here's what my mouse ears look like an olive green shirt:

It looks more washed out in person too. This is just going to be our autograph shirt so I'm not worried about it but it did show me I don't want to do that on any shirts we are actually wearing.

This is how I did mine:
1 I did the mickey head on dark transfer paper and neatly cut around it.
2 I did the words on the light transfer paper and just cut around them
3 I ironed them on as two separate pieces.

This is how it turned out
