Have to be on DDP to make reservations?

This is our first trip to WDW as a family and we'd like to do at least one Character breakfast (Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace) and Rainforest Cafe in AK. Do you have to purchase DDP to make reservations for restaurants ahead of time? We are going 2nd week of Feb.

You do not need to have the DDP to make reservations. You could call 407-WDW-DINE today to make reservations if you'd like :goodvibes

CALL, CALL, CALL!!! Those particular restaurants fill up fast from what I hear!!! Best of luck! One of these days maybe I'll get to do CRT. I don't know if my Hubby and 2 sons would like it though! (On second thought, hubby would probably LOVE all the princesses around him)!:rotfl2:

(oops, never mind, I re-read your post and you said Crystal Palace, I was thinking it said CRT. I think CP is pretty popular, too though!!)

Thanks! We decided to do Donald's Safari Breakfast instead of Rainforest Cafe at AK because they are more easy-going (and well-behaved) earlier in the day. I just called and got the dates/times I wanted. :cool1:
