I thought I would post some pics of a few of my decorations that I have put out. I have not finished my tree yet so that will follow soon.

Here is my early christmas pressie from my hubby, he told me I couldn't have it early but gave it to me the other day. :lovestruc :cool1:

It is beautiful, so much detail and so many characters. It lights up, plays christmas songs and the trains go around the tracks, the princesses dance and the Mickey Sleigh & Pluto fly around the top.

2 x Festive Vintage Mickey stockings (Look closely, they are hard to spot!!!)

http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/697/disneystockingsnov2008lj1.jpg (http://img117.imageshack.us/my.php?image=disneystockingsnov2008lj1.jpg)

The following pictures didnt upload properly so you will have to click on them to make them bigger

A few Mickey and Minnie beanies / plushes (Close ups of each available :wizard: )

http://img379.imageshack.us/img379/9273/disneybeaniesnov2008bs0.th.jpg (http://img379.imageshack.us/my.php?image=disneybeaniesnov2008bs0.jpg)http://img379.imageshack.us/images/thpix.gif (http://g.imageshack.us/thpix.php)

And some Festive ties

In December when my display goes out, the black racking you can see in the top picture will be stripped bare then filled with every Mickey/Minnie festive bit I have in my collection. Still have a lot of sorting out to do including how to mount my 4 ft Mickey Mouse head light on the wall.

I thought I'd better explain why I haven't posted a picture of my tree yet.

Basically I can't find lots of my new ornaments that I bought last year! :confused3 I boxed them up and thought hubby put them in the loft but they aren't up there....I think they must have got put in our spare room and because we are half way through decorating another room it is full of new furniture and old furniture we need to sell etc so at the moment we can't get in there to look and typically the boxes stacked at the back! ARGGHH.

Anyway if I can get my camera to take a decent photo I will post my half decorated tree and then update it when I find the other decs!

gorgeous trees everyone, they are all so pretty :goodvibes I don't think I can wait til December 1st for ours to go up although last year thanks to dd it nearly came down on December 2nd, she just wouldn't leave it alone !!!! I'm hoping this year she manages to control herself !!!

ok, this is cheating but here's our tree last year, we soon learnt that shatterproof where dd is concerned isn't actually shatterproof !!!!

I have a six month old puppy and she has been fascinated by both my trees.....she has been really good though and stopped chewing the branches after a few yells!

We have only had one broken bauble so far and that is because she was excited to see me when I came in and managed to whiplash the bauble with her tail!

Ok so here is my other tree...my Disney one which is in the lounge. I still can't find the box with my new Disney ornaments :sad2: so I will update the pic once I finally find them!

Also it is a little bare around the bottom due to my 6 month old puppy....I am trying to keep the temptation to a minimum! :lmao:

I just cleared the space for my big Disney tree to go up. I want to do a spring clean in that room 1st though whilst the space is clear then I can put that tree up (then just need to repeat the process for the lounge and conservatory tree spaces!!) Then I need to make sure the florest wire is still on the baubles for the outside tree (I don't want them blowing off!!) So hopefully 1 tree will be up by the end of the week!! Then I need to cut the ivy from the garden to put over the picture frames etc. Oh and sort out all the other decorations!! This might take a while!! But I'll post pics as I get things done.

Dd7 is not very happy with me,as i did'nt take a picture of the tree in there bedroom and put it on here for you all to see.It is'nt disney themed but i am sure you won't mind me posting it and it would make Chloe+Emily very happy if i did.I will take a piccy and post it later or tomorrow.x.

I love your winnie the pooh and tigger decorations on it!

I got them in Wilkinsons when Dd7 was first born.x.

I love that snowman Michelle

I also got that in Wilkinsons 4 yrs ago in the sales a bargain at only £5,was originally £20 i think.Have never seen another one like it.Unfortunatley you can't see the beauty of it on here, but in the dark it looks fantastic. The raised scene along the bottom continues around the back+is fibre optic, his face, mittens, fur oh his scarf+jacket+decoration his hat are also fibre optic.x.

Well my tree is up :thumbsup2 but only the tree, no decorations yet, as I've got to get hubby to go up in the attic to get the decs out

In the battle of the Christmas trees, where I went out and bought a new slimline tree from Wilko, well the girls wouldn't have it, so we have the humungous tree up that feels like it is overtaking the living room (I really need to learn to be more assertive to my girls :rotfl2: :rotfl2: )

The next battle is whether Tink goes on the top of the tree (girls choice) or Stitch does (my choice), somehow I don't think I'll stand much chance - those girls are brutal :rotfl: :rotfl:

I've also just washed my lovely mug that my Secret Decoration sender sent me, so tomorrow Christmas will definitely be in full swing at the mandymouse household

It was from a shop called Home.Co, they was about £1 a roll. I think they still sell the ribbon, i can pick you up a roll or 2 if you want? My mum used 3 to cover her tree.

I use it on my tree too, girls. I was thinking apart from some colour differences how much your mum's tree looks like ours - pine cones and all!
I call it wired ribbon as I don't know what it's really called :lmao: I've seen it in my local poundland this year Nat, not sure if you have those stores where you are though :confused3 I use three rolls to cover my tree.
I use it as I have a hatred of tinsel, can't stand the feel of the stuff:scared1: :scared1:
