keeping track of credits question

For those of you that have done the dining plan in the past, how hard is it to keep track of your credits if you just rely on the receipt the cashier gives you? We will be on the deluxe dining plan. Any advice? I know that I will not remember to ask the front desk for a printout at the end of each day. Should I take something to keep track or will the receipts be ok?

Related question: Is the dining plan all on one KTTW or will any key work? I know my kids would like to "buy" their own snacks with their own keys if they all work.

I used DS' key a few times when I couldn't get to my card easily.
