Well we had a snow storm and our DS who has autism INSISTED that I go out to shed and get all the Christmas decorations out. Yes, on Nov. 8th, we have our Christmas tree up! Decorated and our house if full of decorations!
I was thinking of the Thanksgiving weekend for decorations but life with Autism is not having what is planned but going with what happens.
Merry Christmas.

Wonderful photo. I agree(autism aside) snow just makes it feel so much like Christmas. I think it is lovely that you used the snow time to set up the tree. Bless you and your family...and Merry Christmas!
Now if I could only get some snow this year in Texas. :goodvibes

Here snow doesn't mean Christmas so it wouldn't happen around here. But the tree is up in Walmart already and Kmart has tons of Christmas out so I guess the season has started.

My DD with autism has been singing jingle bells and O'Christmas tree for 2 weeks now! I've asked her if she wants her Christmas tree up yet. Yes last year in order for her to actually go to sleep I had to buy her a small tree to put in her room and of course couldn't leave out her brother so they each have a tree with ornaments for their bedrooms. Merry Christmas

Gotta love our kids!!!!
When my aspie was little, he was obsessed with volcanoes. So, when he saw the first snow of the year, he didn't think of Christmas. He told me "It looks like a volcanoe exploded and there's ash everywhere!" :rotfl:
I never would of thought of that!

My DS with Down syndrome, age 18, put away all of his Halloween items the day after Halloween and got out all of his Christmas Videos to play over and over and over until at least January 1st. He loves Santa and Christmas! :santa:
