Fitness Centre charges?

My DH's sister and her family will be joining us on our trip to WDW this October and she plans to use the fitness centres at OKW and VWL where we will be staying.

I've read in the guidebook that the facilities are free for DVC members, but that there is a charge for guests - does that mean guests staying in DVC resorts, or just guests at WDW who may be staying elsewhere?

If she does have to pay, does anyone know what the charge would be?

I would expect that if their room key says "DVC Member" and they are using the fitness center at the resort they are staying at, that there is no charge.

My "read" on the guests clause is that they are refering to people who pay cash to stay at the resort.

Would their room card say 'DVC Member' if they aren't members, but staying with members?

We've never taken guests with us before, so this is all new to me!

Yes, their room key would say DVC Member if they were staying with you on points.

My brother's family stayed with us in a 2 bedroom unit at BWV this past February. All of their keys said "DVC Member" and looked exactly the same as ours did. My sister-in-law used the health club facilities several times during our stay. There was no charge for her to use the facilities, but she did have to leave her room key with the CM (kind of like a deposit) while she was actually in the club.
