View Full Version : completing on DVC membership from UK

hoping someone can help me out on this one. We bought out DVC membership for BLT when we were in orlando, we completed all the paperwork when we were out there, but it was not filed until we returned home as BLT had not officially opened. We had to apply for finance through GE Money as we could not apply for the Disney finance as we would not be there to sign the paperwork when BLT went on sale!

We have had all out paperwork in the UK, and the forms from GE Money to confirm all Loan etc is approved, and everything has been returned via fedex!

Today I have had a letter from Member Services saying that the have not had the funds/paperwork needed to complete to contract! I will call then later, but wondered has anyone else in the UK bought DVC this way - and if so, can you tell me whether you needed to do anything that I have missed????

You might check with FedEx. If you have your tracking number they can tell you who signed for it and when. That might help DVC track it down.

already confirmed with Fedex that everything was signed for and delivered the next day. Spoke to member services last night, they said someone will look to it for me!

They may need to wait until Monday to do track it down. Good luck with it. Let us know what happens.

so we spoke to MS yesterday - they said they are still looking into it.

Then.......TODAY we received confirmation that the contract has all gone thorugh as we are closing this week!!!!

Not sure who/what happened to the paperwork for 3 weeks, but Mickey did his job and we are now almost owners!!!

I know I am a sap, but when I logged onto my DVC accouny online, and it said welcome home Collins family I nearly shed a wee tear!!!!!

Thats good to know glad you got it sorted. I'm hoping Bay Lakes will still be selling in 2010 I really want to buy there. But wouldn't be able to buy until 2010 atleast.
