We just returned from our vacation,this was the 3rd one since the year of a million dreams. We only saw a group of 10 with the hats and that was it.
No dream squads at all during our entire stay.
HOWEVER!!!!We checked into the POP *DH, DD and I * we were given a complimentary adjoining room *FOR FREE**
:wizard: :wizard:
We asked 5 times if they were sure!!! We were so surprised THE room even had a fridge!!!!!:wizard:
All this at the POP.We received 10 towel animals. (another Dream):wizard:
We asked a bus driver how to get to one of the hotels*I think it was Cont.*
HE said to stay on the bus and he would bring us right there (another dream):wizard:
In Epcot we were given a magic coin(we laughed and yes we called it another dream):wizard: :wizard: LAST day we asked for a late check out on one of the rooms and they were very accomodating.(another dream)From the POP we never waited for a bus longer than 5 minutes UNBELIEVABLE
Funniest thing WE went and checked out the Grand Floridian and when we left we waited a half hour for a bus!!!!!!!

OUR trip was a blast! :wizard:
Hope all your trips are as magical

Thanks for sharing your unusual but nonetheless pleasantly surprising dreams! Isn't it nice to know that Disney CMs care about us that way?

Did you bring your 10 towel animals home? :goodvibes

:dance3: CONGRATULATIONS!!! :banana: :banana: :banana:

We had two rooms at Pop on our last trip (that we reserved and paid for). It was so nice having lots of room so I'm sure you really enjoyed it!! And even better that it was FREE :wizard: ! Congrats!

What's there to say?

Glad you had an extra magical time. :thumbsup2

Now write a nice letter and send it off quick as a bunny to Pop Century raving about how great your stay was. They love hearing about that stuff too. :cheer2: :cheer2:

A few years back my son wanted to write to Disney World saying how much he loved it. I emailed them and asked them where to send it, they said that would be wonderful, send it to ... . I sent the letter and he got a great thank you card.

Thanks Baltazar

Yes I did write guest relations and thanked everyone from the CM at the desk,the ME bus drivers,the maid,the daily bus driver...

I think it's very important to take the time to write and say thank you when you have a great experience and not just a negative one:cheer2: :cheer2:

Have a magical nite:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I think the nicest thing is that you really saw the dream:cloud9: side to all the little things (like the short wait and helpful driver) that others can sometimes take for granted :)

So was the fridge that was in the tv unit. I thought it was a cupboard because I never had a fridge included at the Pop before.

And yes, I did send a letter off to Guest Relations with all the CMs names.
Too often people only take the time to send off letters when they are disatisfied and not when they are extremely thankful.

Have a magical day:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I know I will:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I have the day off :cheer2: :cheer2:

Sounds like a great trip.

We have stayed GF and Pop! The bus situatioin at GF is terrible. That was our experience the entire week, 30 minute waits for buses. Yuck.

I agree with a previous poster....it's nice that you took everything as a "dream". We are the same way. We've gone twice during the Year of a Million Dreams. While I only received the "Package Pick Up Guest of the Hour" which included a Tinkerbell pin, we didn't receive any significant dreams.

But:

1) Our son did get chosen to participate in a street performance at Hollywood Studios;

2) Our son's text message joke got chosen at The Laugh Floor;

3) Our son got to ask Crush a question at Turtle Talk with Crush;

4) We got free desserts and ice cream from various castmembers because we had our Wedding Anniversary pins on;

5) We were seated outside at the Rose & Crown and had a great view of Illuminations (even though we didn't ask for it);

6) We got a new Nemo room at the CBR

I, like you, think all of these things qualify as a dream to our family!

:goodvibes My opinion exactly - just what I was thinking. I believe you have the kind of experience you look for. If you are looking for magic, you will find it.

What a fantastic experience for your son. It gave me goosebumps when I read your response! Talking to Crush would have been so magical for him.
I love hearing these stories. I'm sure he will remember it for a long time!!

Yes, he loved it. When he performed with the street performers at Hollywood Studios, they said he was the youngest performer they had ever chosen. He even got a "real fake gold" trophy.
