Uggh. I have been starting to to pack for the family. We leave Nov 23 and come back day after Thanksgiving. I went to try on a couple of pair of capris and skorts and they some how shrunk:confused3 Don't know how that happened but they are just a little to tight. (Can't have anything t do with my lack of exercise since the summer!)
Anyone have any idea where I can get some capris maybe a pair of shorts now in November?

Did you leave your clothes in the closet for too long? I know mine tend to fit uncomfortably when I do that.... or again, it could be lack of exercise??? If you have access to a car when you get here, there are several stores along Irlo Bronson BLVD in Kissemmee where you can purchase clothes. I think there's even a Walmart. Otherwise, you'll have to buy a few pairs of long pants and get a seamstress to 'hem' them into capri's. We were in the World over Thanksgiving once and it wasn't all that hot, so maybe you'll luck out and be able to wear long pants. In any case, have a great vacation.

Hmm trouble is it seems like all my clothes are just a little on the sung side. I just may have to take a drive once we get there to buy some comfortable fitting clothes.

I know some catalogs might have some clearance stuff, I know Roamans does. I'm "pooh-sized" but i know they have non-pooh (lol) stuff there too and they're quick with shipping.

Woman Within and Roamans offer shorts and capris year round on their sites. If you do a search for either Roamans or Woman Within discount codes you will get a better deal on them. They carry both regular sizes and women's plus sizes I believe up to very large sizes.

Maybe you could try one of the shopping channels, like qvc they still have summer items. Some things might even be on sale.

Knock out the starches and double your water for a couple of days. Maybe all you need is that crash diet. It would kill me to spend resort prices for shorts in November.

Yes i will knock off the starches and maybe use my exercise ball as well. I am going to start walking as we usually take a walk after dinner each night to prepare for all the walking we will be doing in the World. No bikini for me though!!! I will check the clearance racks around town just for a pair of comfortable pants.

I have a similar problem, but opposite. All of my summer clothes are much too big on me. I had gastric bypass about 5 months ago, so I've lost a lot of weight.
I plan on waiting until about a month before our trip, and then do some online shopping. Good websites to find off-season clothes are coldwatercreek.com, llbean, com, and bealls.com. Sometimes you'll have to look in the clearance section of the website.
If you'll be shopping in Orlando, try the Bealls store.

Did you try the outlet malls? I know alot of clearance stuff is there, my mom lives in Mass and has been sending my sister a ton of bathing suits, shorts and tees for the kids

This would be kind of hit or miss, but you could try shopping at a second-hand store, like Goodwill or Salvation Army. They tend to leave things on the racks, regardless of season.
Try Lands End. I think they carry things like shorts and capris year-round, and often have great clearance deals on out-of-season stuff.
Great quality clothes.

How about ebay? I'm going on a cruise in January and recently picked up some cute formal dresses, sundresses, shorts, capris, and summery blouses.

I know someone already said this, but just to reiterate...Old Navy. I was just online today and they have a section called "Sunny Getaways" where they have some summer clothes. Plus, if you have an Old Navy card it is the "Stuff and Save" sale where you get 20% off everything!

I had a similar problem two years ago, Goodwill was the only place I could find capris. My mall stores, even the upscale ones that I thought would have a selection of summery wear for travelers; didn't have any thing. I don't buy clothes online because it's hard to gauge fit and I have a hard time finding things to fit right.
