I've saved a couple of designs, do I just get T-shirt printing stuff from a craft store, and print them, then iron them on T-shirts? :confused3 I'm not very crafty, and not very computer literate, what special things do I need? I have a decent PC, and a good photo printer...(cannon, very big LOL) Can anyone walk me step by step thru this? We're going to the MVMCP on Monday, and want to make t-shirts! Thanks!

PS, LOVE the star wars stuff!! Luckily my ds and dh has a common name, didn't have to request :) If anyone can come up with a birthday design in Tigger....that would be AWESOME!!! My b-day is in January, and we're going ON the day!! WOOHOO

If you are using white tshirts you can use either light or dark transfers. If you are using any other color shirt - you probably want to use dark transfers. Light transfers make all white areas of the design 'clear' - so it would be the color of the shirt. For dark transfers, all white areas are white.

Thanks!! I did find out that my computer CAN do the transfers, without a program, guess it came with the printer, cause it was one of the options :) Do you know if I can get the HP transfers at a craft store, or do I have to order them online, I'd prefer to visit a craft store tomorrow, washing the shirts now in just detergent!! TRYING to get at least 2 shirts done by monday night, going to the MVMCP, have the designs I want, printed them, they'll look good on the shirts, just need the transfers!!!! Thanks for the help, that thread was AWESOME!!!!! Showed me that I CAN do this LOL!!!

I also am a newbie (just starting to collect my prints)
But yes, from what I have gathered, you can purchase the transfers at any local craft or fabric store as well as walmart.
