Hey y'all,
I'm the new co-captain, Leana has a ton on her plate with work so I volunteered to help out ( and help keep myself accountable haha). Let's report in on Sundays with weekly totals (so for the 1st and 2nd just tell me on the 9th), those days are:
November 9, 16, 23, and 30!
Keep up the great work everyone. Only a couple of months left of 2008, let's stay strong and beat the laziness of the holidays!

I raced the Last Chance Half Marathon here in Calgary today and finished up with a huge PR! I finished somewhere around 2:07:46 (according to the Garmin), which would be 7:10 faster than my previous PR.
Hope everyone has a great week!

I'm a little behind in my hours:
Oct 28 - Oct 31: 180 minutes (spin/weights)
Nov 1 - Nov 2: 166 minutes (18.6 miles)
Nov 3 - Nov 9: 340 minutes (3.5 miles + spin/yoga/weights)
My last race of 2008 was Nov 2. It's nice to have a break from running and have time to spin again (which I missed while training for a marathon) and try yoga. My goal is to run a 10-miler once a week to maintain my distance. I really don't like running in cold weather so we'll see how that goes.
It's time to start thinking about 2009. I already paid for the Princess 1/2 so at least I have something to train for after the holidays.

I did 2.5 miles in a half hour
Also 60 minutes of shoveling
Now, I'm caught up, which is good since I feel like I'm coming down with something

Due to the ice storm, losing power for a few days and having my kids have 6 no school days in a row for the same reasons my running has slacked.
Today I did 3.1 miles/38.06 minutes.Tomorrow hoping for my 10 miler. I'll go back and post weekly totals for you as well.

Still need to do that 10 miler. Today did 5.5/69.04. On the treadmill, it is far too cold out there for me and very snowy/icy. Our town is not known for good snow removal. With my luck I'd slip and break a bone!
