CP height strictness/leeway question

I'm interested in auditioning for a CP, but I'm really hoping to preform a certain character at least, but i'm about 5'4.5 and what i've seen on the internet the characters height is listed from 5'1 to 5'3(pooh). I do have rods in my back which makes it impossible to really stay my true height about 5'6 when standing straight as possible. I've read many peoples audition experance and some say their height is rated down about an inch. I've also seen pooh characters that seem to be as much as 4 inches in diffrence by eye.
in any case are they that strict in the height that i'd never be able to preform that character? I'm a very big pooh fan and nothing would make me happer then to prefrom the part.

Yes. They stick to the character heights (if I am getting what you are trying to say). It's really too hard for Pooh's friends to be over 5'3 unfortunately.

I believe they also offer a half inch or an inch leeway either way on your height. They also go by official "Disney height" which they measure probably at your audition. So even though you register yourself 5'4.5" they might put you at 5'4"

Personally I've always been measured as 5'7. Whether it be at a doctor's office sports, or just for fun without a doubt its been exactly 5'7. When I went to my audition they put me as 5'5. All my friends who came with were also measured shorter than usual.

I don't know if that helps but that was my experience.

I was measured at 4'11'' for my audition

That's Disney for you. Disney sizes and measuring is always 1 to 2 inches more or less than it really is.

OH congratulations on becoming friends with pocahontas!!! did you get two pictures taken of you at your audition?

i was measured at 5'4.5" so i really hope they put me at 5'4" so i have a little better chance of becoming chip or dale :)

yep they actually had me take three: one with me looking forward, one profile view, & one from an angle.

i am 5'3 & was measured at 5'2.

i was given a lot of leeway on my height, because i'm now friends with pocahontas, & she is usually 5'4-5'6.
