Wanna play again?
Are you a 'morning' or 'night' person?

I used to be a night person, worked midnights ans split shift for 5 years. But I always woke up happy, so now I'm a morning person...I still work evening shift, but at 2130, I'm so ready to get my jammies on!!

I am definitely a morning person!! Even before we had DS, I loved mornings better! Now, I'm up at 4 to feed him, and then that's the time I use to clean the house, etc., and get everything ready for the day!! DH is definitely a night person--up 'til 1 or 2 a.m. When the clock passes 9 p.m., I'm pretty much out of it!!

I'm definitely a morning person. I'm usually awake early even when I don't have to be and enjoy the quiet of things while everyone else is asleep. Plus, I get so much more done when I get up early. If I sleep in, it feels like half the day is gone already. I don't do late nights well at all, by 9:00-10:00 p.m., I'm shutting down.

i'm a morning person for sure. i like it 1st thing in the am while most of the world is sleeping. i love to shop when the stores are quiet. i love to just putter around and do my own thing before it gets nutty. my dh and i get up and he gets ready for work and i make his lunch, coffee, and get all his gear ready and we chat about what the day will bring. if we need to do any adult talk thats usually when we do it. it's my favorite part of the day. and then he leaves for work and i can dis in quiet and it's not even 6:00 am!
We are morning people here. In fact this morning I was up at 2:30 happily reading. Tonight on the other hand I know I will be looking for snoozeville by 7:00 pm.:rotfl2:

Neither here. I like to go to bed early and sleep in. :rotfl2:
Probably more of a morning person. I like to get things done early and get moving more than I like to stay up late.

I like to wake up early, but nobody else does in my house. Since the boys "camp out" in the living room on weekends, I don't get to do much until they wake up.
However, I find I am more creative at night. :confused3 So I don't know what I am anymore.

night, not like I had to tell y'all that though.
If school started after 10 I'd be a happy camper.
I swear is skips generations though. MomK is a morning person, her mom is a night person, DadG is a morning person, not sure about his parents. I would say morning only because Pepere worked for the railroad and the post office so he had to be up early. All my kids are morning people, that kills me!

:rotfl2: I would nap then if I could. And I mean really sleep, not the *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge* kind. :cloud9: Maybe I am a second shifter? I should sleep during the afternoon and work all night into the morning.

Morning girl here. I get up and am ready to go. I too am out by 10pm. DH is a night person so when Noah was smaller before he slept through the night DH did the first shift and then I would get up for the early mornings and it worked out great.

I am a "day" person. I get up around 8:30 (when my cat lets me sleep past 7) and go to bed around 11. I am pretty good to go around noon.

Night person for sure. I am most productive between the hours of 6 pm and midnight. I am miraculously able to get myself to work by 8 am (while still sleeping until 7:30 some days :rolleyes1) but my coworkers know not to expect much in the way of complete sentences before 9:30. When my DsDs lived with us, I had perfected the art of setting my alarm to get them up, going back to bed while they got ready, then getting up once more to get them fed and out the door for the bus before going back to bed again. DH is a morning person, unfortunately, so sometimes we are like ships passing in the night.

I've seen these threads and wondered what they are... Can join?!
I had rather be a morning person. I'd rather get up and get things done, and be able to enjoy the evenings with the hubby, but unfortunatly I work nights, so i guess that means I am an involuntary night person?!:confused3 Hopefully not to much longer and I will be a morning person again, and by choice!:thumbsup2

You are welcome to join us. The point of these is to get to know each other better and see how we are similar and different throughout the country.
Glad you decided to join us.

Another morning person here! And not much good after 10pm.
And really not liking the time change. When it gets dark before 6p, I start shutting down! :rotfl:

I know I'm a day late but I'm a morning person.
I'm in bed by like 10 every weekday and about 12 on the weekends! :rolleyes1

definitely night (but maybe it would really be early EARLY morning! :rotfl: ) but in the summer I have to be at work by 7 am (leave at 6:10) and I actually feel better then.

I used to be a morning person, but in the last few years I have become more of a night person. I need time to lay in bed and wake up or else it isn't pretty. :lmao:
