Last time we went on the cruise we had connecting cabins and we are going to have the same on this one.
Our question is has anyone figured out how to keep the doors from closing all the way?
We have left the locks out so they won't close all the way, but it always closes with a bang. We also tried the pillows from the couch but they just get squished and let the doors close. We are trying to come up with a better solution. We already thought about door stops, but the doors don't reach the floor, so that is out.

We also had a problem keeping the doors open. Other than keeping the deadbolts turned out, the only other solution we could come up with was to use the small wastebaskets in each room to hold each door open. Hope this helps.

We brought cheap rubber doorstops to keep the doors propped open when we were coming and going between the two rooms. And we left the deadbolts extended to keep the rooms from closing completely but when we needed the doors otherwise closed for privacy.

Off the ground? I guess I remember having to step over a threshold to get to my parents room.

OUR ROOM STEWARD, IKE, PUT WOODEN DOOR STOPS IN OUR ROOMS TO USE, ....JUST ASK FOR THOSE....THEY WORKED WELL. AT NIGHT, WE MOVED THOSE DOOR HOLDERS BUT TURNED THE BOLT TO LOCK SO THE DOORS WOULDN'T CLOSE ALL THE WAY.

Our room steward propped ours open with wooden stops at the top. We never shut them the entire cruise.
Same here, we asked our steward to prop them open for us. No problem.
