I took advantage of the room only promo for December. I bought tix separately, because that's what I had to do to get the room. Now I can't add on the dining plan? Is that why it all seemed too good to be true?? Darn. This is so annoying to me, and if I'm doing something wrong, can you pretty please tell me? Thanks. :wizard:

It's noting your doing, you can only get the dining plan with a room+tickets package:sad1:

How much was the discount? Where are you staying? How many people are in your party? Depending on these factors, it may save you more to stay with the code and pay for food OOP. For example, if you are staying at a value resort and have say, 4 ppl in your party, maybe its better to ditch the code and go with a package that has DDP. If you are staying at a deluxe and have less ppl, then the code will probably be the better way to go. If you stay with the code, you should look into the tables in wonderland card - 20% discount card on all (well almost all) food and drink.

I've never even heard of the Tables in Wonderland card! Can you tell me more? I do think that since we got a great deal at the CR, it's best to pay for food; still disappointing though.

Disney does not like to stack discounts. They consider the ddp a huge money saver, so you typically cannot add it to a discounted room.

You can add the DDP to any discount room assuming you also purchase tickets as part of a package. The one exception is the recent nov/dec offer is room only, there are no "upsell" options like 99% of their other offers

Do you happen to have a Disney Visa? Even if not, how many days are you staying and what's your dates and number of people. It may still save you to buy a pkg with a one-day ticket for a future use.

I took advantage of the room only promo for December.

Room Only = Room Only

What you are wanting is a WDTC dining package. WDTC sells various travel packages.
Room Only is not WDTC.
