My point was that Hotels.com was also offering it for the same price so it must not be a glitch on the part of Expedia.:goodvibes

If I am reading the cancelation policy correct then there is no penalty if you have to cancel correct? You get full refunded?

Yes, Hotels.com does no charge to cancel. That was the main reason I did not want to book with Expedia. Hotels.com let me book for $97 per night and if I want to cancel or change, it is the same policy as Disney for a room only reservation.:goodvibes

Great I am booking then just in case the huge "deal" isn't what we want.

The $97 was available during value periods. I booked for the summer in August. All the codes coming out have deals starting August 23 and I was able to book the rate starting August 9. Good luck. At the very least it is a great back up plan.

Even though most people aren't aware of this, Hotels.com and Expedia.com are the same company. It only makes sense that an error at one would be duplicated by the other. Anyway, as a person who's dealt with Expedia/Hotels.com for a long time (I work for a major hotel company) I would NOT trust them to honor that $97 rate once they discover the error. They'll say you should have known it was the wrong rate since it's the same as the rate they are quoting for a standard room.

I just looked at it for my dates in June: standard $119, family suite $134, Preferred room $273! Obviously, they got two mixed up. I wouldn't want to take the chance that they would not honor it.

I had no idea that they were the same company. I guess I will have to wait and see what happens. We are not going until August so there is plenty of time for them to correct the errors.

I've heard of Hotels/Expedia.com not honoring prices due to errors within the Hotels booking system as well.

That is insane that they will take your money, in advance I may add, and then not give you what they promised. It is a good price but not too much off from the current discounts out there.

Let's just say that I've heard many, many people say that they will never use Expedia/Hotels.com again. :goodvibes

The All Star Music isn't coming up on Expedia any longer as being available at all. Maybe it is the dates I am looking at but I tried early February and different dates in August. Maybe they caught the problem and are fixing it
