Rather impressive Bob.

Kacee and I had a sparkler last night but that was about it. We went to our local Council run firework display on Saturday night although I don't have any pictures as I was trying to stop Kaccee running accross the field!

We had the family round and had a bonfire with a rather scary guy on and some very loud but pretty rockets. My bro in law bought a display box of fireworks home from work with him so the kids loved those and surprisingly so did our Dalmatians lol
Will upload pictures a little later and post a few.

LOL me too :) We haven't bought fireworks for years. When the girls were younger, we'd give them the money rather than buy fireworks. There was a local display last Saturday evening, which the girls went to, and the fireworks looked lovely (we can see them from our kitchen)

Great photos Bob :thumbsup2

Looks like you had a great bonfire night, Bob.

DH is working late quite a bit at the mo so we didn't do anything at home last night as I didn't fancy controlling the girls and fireworks on my own.

We're off to Legoland on saturday to see the fireworks there:thumbsup2

We spent the night trying to keep the dog calm - didn't really work as she was an absolute wreck and was sick twice with the stress - I hate bonfire night with a vengence - don't mind organised displays away from the houses and stuff but it's ridiculous the amount of noise the fireworks make these days and far too noisy for in a housing area - hubby was nearly hit by a flying stick that a firework had obviously been strapped to!

Yes, do have 2 kids and I know Im a party-pooper but heard of too many irresponsible people with fireworks & seen first hand some injuries that would never ever have them at our house!

Ditto Claire ;) & my DD's feel the same way! (I've taught them well :lmao:) they didn't want to go out and didn't even take a peep through the curtains :confused3. DH even had a display at his work on sunday and they didn't even want to go there?. Plenty of fireworks to watch in Feb though :thumbsup2
