No, I'm not thinking of putting it up yet but we do need a new tree this year. (We bought our old one in 1987!!!!)
Can anyone recommend a good looking tree that is easy to put up?
A friend of mine bought a really nice one from TESCO last year but it took her ages to hook the branches on.

All the shops seem to have their trees out now Libby. There's some nice ones in Tesco, Asda and Wilko
I bought a 7ft one from Asda last year, and it was really nice, just too wide :santa:

We bought a tesco one a few years ago and yes it you have to hook all the branches on but it's colour coded so no problem.
I have to say though - EVERYBODY who comes to the house over Christmas always comments what a lovely tree it is and asks where we got it from so it's definitely worth the effort. :thumbsup2

Hi
If you live in Surrey have you ever tried Longacres in Bagshot?

They have the most amazing display of Christmas decorations, tress, lights etc and are so reasonably priced. Two years ago I got my tree from them and it's gorgeous. They also have the best florist for miles around and their flowers are so cheap.
Christmas just isn't Christmas without a visit to them.
have fun:thumbsup2

That's what I'm trying to avoid. I only have my tree up for 3 weeks maximum so I don't want to spend a lot of time putting it up and taking it down again. Was it obvious on the box that a lot of assembly was required?

Sorry, I forgot to reply to your suggestion.
I'm a bit far away from Bagshot but I'll certainly look in some more local Garden Centres.

Ours was from QVC it's a 5ft tall fibre optic one and lights evenly, lots of space for decorations and ell covered. It has a base switch as well as the mains plug and a really quiet motor, a disc spins in the bottom to change the light colours in the branch tips it even came with a replacement bulb. It was £30 a couple of years ago but still looks great, just fold it up to put it away no awkward bits to take apart/ put together. Even our cat likes it, he thinks it's great for a game of bat the baubles off and tell off the tinsel:lmao:
