So we got back from our first trip to the world on the 28th of September, which means we've been home for a little over a month. Which, of course, means the depression is really starting to kick in. I don't think a day goes by that I don't sigh and think how much I'd like to go back...like...NOW lol.

So the other day I go to my mail box and what do I find.....a postcard looking picture that has Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, Donald, Goofy, etc. all holding a sign that says "We Miss You Too":sad: Then towards the bottom, in small writing it says "here's a way you can visit us more often" or something to that effect.

It was, of course, a pamphlet about DVC. But I MUST say, that the picture.....well it really gets to ya lol. I'm ordering the DVD. :)

Either way, I'm keeping that picture and hanging it up in my office.

Yep, that would have put me over the edge! A postcard from the Fab 5. I'd be scouring my time sheets looking for some days off, brownbagging it to lunch and trying to get back there ASAP!!

I wish the economy didn't stink so badly now! I've been wanting to buy DVC for so long, but right now, I just can't pull the trigger. Lawd only knows what wicked fate will befall the economy next...

Actually, on the resale market you may find some good deals because of the economy.

I was going to say the same thing. I've been looking into DVC resale prices and they aren't too bad at all, I don't see Disney dropping prices a ton, but there are/will be good deals in the resale market. I am watching and we are thinking about it.

I really have to wonder if Disney will start doing some sort of incentives to push DVC, since the economy is in such a downfall, and now it seems even Disney is really starting to feel the squeeze.

Or maybe this postcard thing was the push, because they knew that freaks like me would...well....freak! lol :lmao:

Yeah after staring at that thing for a couple of days, I went on to the WDW site to see just how much it would cost to go back in March.....cutting back wherever I could (well, we really don't HAVE to have a day for AK, we didn't like it that much, maybe we can do HS in half a day).....you know, just talking crazy talk...trying to get the price down as low as I could....and trying to figure out how much I'd have to pay every month to get there...working on days that we leave and return so I'd have the vacation time.....more crazy talk

DVC has called me several times over the last few months after I epxressed interest in BLT. They send me brochures with BLT updates at least once a month, but I keep telling them I can't pull the trigger right now due to the economy and the fact that DH would probably divorce me if I did. So, they are defintely hearing this message from me, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were hearing it from others too!

When my DF and I make more money we well look into it cuse we are like an hour away from disney and that is how I would love to spend long weekends so all of you well have to let me know if it is worth it
