OK.... I'm sad you won't be there. Would like to meet you.:goodvibes

BUT - I seem to recall someone was just at Disneyland Paris??!? ;) Like, repeatedly?!? :rotfl:

Not to mention I am dying to see Scotland some day.... I guess the grass is always greener. (Usually greenest over the septic tank, as Erma Bombeck said )

With work and vacation, I just couldn't make it. I expect live reports, J-Kim, APD and Rex!

I'm really bummed out about not being able to go to Mousefest. :(

I wouldn't feel as bad about not being able to go if I was going with my dad to Miami for a weekend in February; he's going to be in business meetings and I'd be staying with my cousin who I haven't seen in two years. Unfortunately, he is totally against taking a day off of school (Friday) to go on "vacation" so I'll be sitting at home on the DIS.

Arghhh!!!

Me and my family will be there the week before and it is too late to reschedule everything. Not to mention we (unfortunately) are meeting up with some of DH's family while there so we can't reschedule. I'm bummed but I look forward to reading all about it! :thumbsup2

We can't go either. We went in august and had to come home early due to fay. My daughter is in the nutcracker on December 13th this year too so it just was not meant to be. There is always next year.

I'm totally bummed, too, Katie. Since we only get to WDW every 12-18 months (living out here in Sunny So. Cal.), we have to plan better.

I didn't even have Mousefest on my radar at all for some reason when I set up our trip for January 1-10 with other friends. Maybe in few years when the kids are older and I can have a choice - either be "irresponsible", ditch the family, and go to meets without them or bring them along and have them appreciate it!

Having a mildly "Disney mixed-marriage" only works with a supportive spouse! Each year he comes on board the ship a little more!

I would love to go to Mousefest someday. I listed to some of the other podcasts also. My problem is I usually go down for Marathon weekend so I would have to choose between the two. Of course I could just go down for a month and hit both but that would require a robbery or embezzling to afford it and I just could survive the prison time.:confused3

I would love to go - actually my dh was encouraging me to go w/the kids for a long weekend for MF, but, I thought about it and we just came back from a week at the Poly in August, we're going on the cruise and the holidays are coming up, so I decided to be responsible and not take him up on the offer.
Next year, however, is a different story.... already told him we're all going!!!!

I'm not bummed. I'm happy for those who are going and will live vicariously through them. I'm still very happy that I will get to spend four days at sea with the PodSquad! That will be MouseFest x 4!!!

:woohoo:

Believe it or not, my hubby asked me if I wanted to go solo and he would watch the kids. As much as I wanted to say yes, it's really not in the budget.

I hope everyone has a great time!

We had already booked the first week of December and couldn't change it due to work conflicts, etc.
Maybe next year will work out if I know the dates far enough in advance.:goodvibes

I'm not going to be there because I have to go a week earlier due to my sisters work schedule. Still going to WDW in December so I'm not bummed. At some point I'll get to meet the team and DIS'ers at a meet. Not just this year.

It's been a while since I've been to WDW ... for various reasons ... but for those who are attending ... enjoy!

I'm really happy for the people who get to go, really happy we're going to get to year about it, and a little disappointed I can't go.

But, I'm also grateful that I even got to go to WDW this year, which was entirely because of the podcast and my winning the dining review; wouldn't have been going at all without that and we got to meet John and Kevin to boot!

So I can't say as I'm really bummed. I've already been really DISlucky this year. :cloud9:
