I wonder if this gets extended since 2009 is looking really bad for the economy, if this deal is available for those booked on the PodCast Cruise.

I also read that DVC is offering members the opportunity to purchase a second Disney Cruise Line voyage for as little as 23 reservation points per person.

If anyone hears of this promotion extending to May 10th 2009, Please post.

Thanks,

You cruise on one of the specified dates Jan-Mar...then you call back during the dates in Apr/May to book the $99 per person fare for cruise dates in Aug-Dec. So, it won't work for the podcast cruise because it sails in May. I wish it did though!

Sorry -- just reread your post and see that you are really looking for a heads-up if the deal is extended in some way. Let's keep our fingers crossed that maybe it will.

Wouldn't that be great if it did get extended to include the podcast cruise dates?!?!? I would sooooooooo book a $99 bounce back cruise.

Yeah, I am sure the podcast crew would love to have all of us going again with them on a bounce back :)

Just wondering, is this an unusual bounce back offer?

Not, sure.
This is the first Disney Cruiseline deal I have seen.
$99 per person for a cruise sounds like a great deal.

Anyone know if this is a first for DCL?

I thought someone mentioned they did something similar after 9/11. Has anyone actually gotten more details on this offer...does the $99 per person apply to everyone in the cabin, or just the first two passengers? Also, what kind of taxes/fees are added to the $99 price? You know the old saying: "if it seems too good to be true..."
