presentation vs. telephone sale

Hi All,
Would attending a dvc presentation give me bargaining leverage vs. a telephone sales transaction? For that matter, does disney even negotiate? Just wondering if I should hop on a plane to HH this weekend :) Geez, that sounds good. Please tell me I would save a ton of money if I were to spend a few days vacationing..um..I meant negotiating.

hi: i'm 99% sure that disney will not negotiate. it seems i've read several posts in the past to this effect.

I have been a member since 1994 and have yet to hear anyone claim to have negotiated a better deal than someone else. Disney is not making any special deals for anyone. The concept and properties sell themselves and there are plenty of people buying in daily.
You mentioned saving some money and buying at HH. Have you considered a resale at this resort. There is where you could save some $$ if you found the exact package. You can email me and I'd love to share my experiences of buying through Disney and resale.
