The little crab cake is sad. The green stuff in the bowl next to the plate is scary.

So I'm in the middle of trying to make my list of places I want to get ADR's for, and I come across Kevin's written review last night-I bet it was even funnier on the podcast:rotfl2:
I'll have to listen to that one!

It is my understanding that the Sad Little Crab Cake was removed from the menu within hours of the airing of that episode.

Now if only they would get rid of the bloody pear :upsidedow dessert at CRT.

 That was the first podcast that my DS listened to, we all laughed so hard. Everytime we go to Epcot he wants to go and check out "the sad little crab cake" ...I haven't been to the Coral Reef since about 2005 because the food was so horrible that I refuse to go again until I hear some excellent reviews. Seafood is a favorite of mine but there are so many better choices than the Coral Reef.

That looks disgusting. If you were a restaurant, would you even serve something like that to a paying customer?

I still can't get over the fact that they actually served something like that. It looks like it was rubbed against charcoal!

I ate there in 2007, and it was pretty good. I had the lobster soup, and a shrimp pasta dish that has apparently been removed from the menu. Both of these were quite good. Maybe the pasta had to go because it was palatable. However, the chocolate wave cake was nasty....nuked into crunchiness on the edges, icky overall.
The crab cake looks very lonely, but not quite as sad as the bowl-o-barf in the next pic in the link posted. That is truly repulsive.
