It's election day so lets settle it here once and for all! This is a topic that has been long debated and there are positives and negatives for both sides. Feel free to post your opinion or post support for your candidate.

So who will win? Which is really better?

Magic Kingdom, Disneyland OR Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World?

(This is all in good fun :), and this doesn't include the whole resort, just the Magic Kingdom- which is the best?)

Apples to Apples, I prefer Disneyland's Magic Kingdom. The detail is amazing, it seems a bit more "magical" and I can't help but think of Walt the whole time.

I do like the MK at WDW, but that's just because it's easier for me to get to.

MK at DL will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. That's where DH and I rekindled our love for one another after 10 years apart! :love:

New Orleans Square beats Liberty Square's tushy!

But Tomorrowland in WDW beats DL.

Hmmm....:confused: Walt walked in Disneyland. And even though WDW will always be "home," DL slightly surpasses WDW when it comes to the MK.

I like the fact that the monorail goes into the park. I like New Orleans Square. DL has some attractions found in other WDW parks (Star Tours, Indy Jones).

Disneyland, by far. They still have a Main Street that doesn't look like a giant mall. Granted, if DL had WDW's castle and Tomorrowland, I'd say they'd have WDW beat in a landslide.

I love WDW, but Magic Kingdom at DL is better. The rides are better (PotC & SM), rides they have that WDW doesn't (Mattahorn, Mr Toad, and Pinocchio), plus there is the history of the park. As a whole WDW is better, but as for MK, Disneyland is better.

Definitely Disneyland - has more character and minute detail. Also, it's more initmate and homey.

Of course it would be cool to have the Hall of Presidents, but we still have Lincoln.

Oh yeah - we don't call it the "Magic Kingdom at Disneyland".
It's purely, simply, perfectly Disneyland.

WOW! I'm very surprised the WDW's Magic Kingdom is in the lead! I didn't even have to think about it Disneyland's MK is so much more classic Disney, and you can really see Walt's influence there. Disneyland MK is the winner for me hands down!!

Although DL was my first visit to Disney, I have a special place in my heart for WDW. I've been to DL about 6 times and WDW 10 times. Cinderella's castle is just so much more stunning than Sleeping Beauty's. I also feel so much more immersed in the world of Disney in FL. I do think the restaurant in Pirates at DL is such a cool idea though. Why not make that in FL?!

I completely agree. I am interested if it is a 'haven't been there so I vote for what I know' kind of situation or if people truly are comparing the two. I am, admittedly, a CA girl and DL is my home park. Having said that, there are many things I like better about WDW than DLR, but I really like DL better than Magic Kingdom. They are both great parks, but DL has quite a few more points that weigh in its favor for me.

While I am easily done visiting WDW's Magic Kingdom in 1 day, I could easily spend 3 days in a row (and have!) at DLR's Magic Kingdom. The details, the "cozy-ness", New Orleans Square, a real elevator at HM, the original Fantasmic, Oscar's Choice at Carnation Cafe (with Oscar checking to see how it is!), Monte Cristos and Mint Juleps. I VOTE for DLR, hands down.

Wow I am surprised that WDW has crushed DL! When it comes to the Magic Kingdom I am hands down all for Disneyland. I love the Indiana Jones ride, the Haunted Mansion, the intimate feeling of mainstreet, Fantasy Land...and I am crazy about Haunted Mansion Holiday. But if this was the whole resort...I think WDW would get my vote. I am a sucker for all of the WDW hotels and I love not having to stay on Harbor Blvd.

But all of you Disneyland lovers- come on get out the vote ;) Haha.
