I was wondering if anyone knows if the Boardwalk Inn has refillable mugs? If so do you know if you can refill them anywhere on the Boardwalk or just in a specific area at the Inn?:)

I'm pretty sure the BoardWalk is one of the areas where you have to pay to get your refillable mugs refilled. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my DH is, and he saves his mugs from trip to trip. I think BW is the only place we've stayed that doesn't offer the free refills service. Maybe it's because of the DVC property, I don't know.

We bought refillable mugs at the Boardwalk Bakery in January. I think they can be refilled at the refreshment stand at the pool as well as at the bakery. It seems I have read that there are a couple other places where you can get them refilled, but can't remember them.
Maybe you could ask at the Bakery. I think they were 9.95 each. Refills are free.

Thanks, I was a little worried after reading that last post. My DH will be in meetings during the day and I won't wander to far myself, so I thought the refillable mug would be a great deal!

Boardwalk does not have a free refill program - they do have a program with refills, but you pay for refills. The mugs are a bit cheaper than the ones at the resorts with free refills. From what I understand this is true for both BW and OKW since they are DVC resorts.
Here is a link to Deb's WDWIG page regarding the mug programs: http://www.wdwig.com/mugs.htm
Ooh, ooh - I take my message back...according to Deb's site BW is now FREE! Yipee!!! OKW looks like it still has a charge, though.

Really and truly, last year when we were there they weren't free. There was a fee. (That's what I originally meant, anyway.) That was last May. I do hope that this has changed because it's a really nice service, though. Guess I'll find out in two weeks. We're headed down then.

Free refills at the Bakery, Spoodles pizza window, and the swimming pool bar.
