We want to come down for Christmas in 2009. We want to come down the week between Christmas and New Years and need some ideas for how to get reservations. I know this is a busy time and many people are there for weeks and months at a time. How do most get reservations and how far out can I make them.. Keep in mind I am talking about 2009. Thanks!

Make them now--it's the busiest time of the year. It only cost $200 for a deposit if you are doing a package. If it's just the campground reservation it's only 1 night deposit. If things change you can get a refund of the deposit. You can make payments with the total payment due 45 days before the vacation time.

bite the bullet and get it done, you can always modify it later

You can make reservations 500 days out - which means for Christmas 2009 you could have made them in July 2008 - you need to get on it now!

I would book as soon as they will let you holidays go fast worst thing you will have to cancel later but if you wait much longer you won't get a site unless your very lucky and catch someone else s cancellation

Thanks everyone. Called this morning and got a premium site for the exact days I wanted. Ariving on Dec. 26 and leaving on Jan 3. I did not realize that you can make reservations so far out. Thanks again

Oh goodness, book them now. Matter of fact, I already have all my holiday reservations already booked for 2009. Otherwise, you'll be praying for a cancellation...not fun and can be very stressful.
